I think it's nice to know what instruments people play. It can be either rock instruments or in a school band or orchestra I play guitar, bass guitar (main), drums (set and percussion) and trumpet.
I play the drums. I've been playing for about 5 years now, so now I'm at the stage where it's just really fun to play. Speaking of that, I want to practice today...
I play piano too, but I'd take a drum set over a piano nearly every day.
Don't play anything now, but i'm interested in starting the drums. Mostly because of the beats, but also love playing my favorite songs.
Danstanta, you definitely should give them a try. I'm really glad that I play them now, it's just flat out fun. And yeah, one of the best ways of learning (and how I learned) was just playing along with songs that you like.

Haha yep, i always listen to my favorite songs (Obstacle 1, Evil, Narc) and i always pretend that my fingers are the drumsticks.

Haha, nice. That's exactly what I did before I got my first set. You can probably find some cheap used ones on eBay and Craigslist. My first set with cymbals and all was about $200 from eBay, so that didn't hurt my wallet too badly.
