I think it's nice to know what instruments people play. It can be either rock instruments or in a school band or orchestra I play guitar, bass guitar (main), drums (set and percussion) and trumpet.
Everybody plays trumpet! I'm on my 8th year. I'm being written up to be in Northview High School Honor Band in Indiana in November, but god knows if I'm going to be chosen...
I've played electric bass guitar now for around two years. I play a Traben Array 4 string through a Gallien-Krueger 1X15 cab with the Backline 600 head. I play everything from classical, rock and metal.
Well, last year I was in Honor Band, I was only 4th chair in the regular class, where the other class was "AP Honor Band", so that was just another way to say that I suck, lol.
But that was last year! This year looks bright for me!
I have been playing trumpet for almost 6 years. I'm great at Concert Band (one of the best, two freshman are better than me in high school. One's Chinese, and the other is Jewish so it's not fair :[) As for Jazz, I need to improve a lot. I'm probably the 3rd or 4th best in School. Some kid in my grade tries to be as good as me and says he is, and another one says he's better than everyone. Neither statements are true. The first one might be a little bit true, though.
