Acuttaly SuperzMcShort no his therioes have not been shot down by the scientist community. And Again i am telling you its normal this is not man made it will go away evenutally like it has since the earth was created.

Not when the economies of the world rely on crude oil which creates C02. Granted other gases like CFC's and Methane are more harmful, but they make up a significantly smaller percentage of greenhouse gasses. If global warming is to be combated, C02 levels need to be reduced.

Yes, much easier. The way to fix man made global warming is to use technologies that we are already developing/have developed and implementing them over the course of a couple decades.

Natural warming means developing new technologies to for geo engineering, getting all the governments on Earth, or at least the important ones, to agree it needs to be implemented, and then to fund it, and then putting something in place that will have drastic and at this time unknown consequences on global weather patterns.

There are no large reputable scientific institutions left on the planet that say global warming isn't happening, and of those only a handful say it isn't caused by man.

Sorry for the double post.

I read the link, and what confused me was that unless I'm horribly mistaken, light doesn't respond to electromagnetic fields. So a weakening electromagnetic field wouldn't have any effect of where heat (a type of light) is hitting the planet.

And the only thing that would change is where cosmic rays hits, but not the number that due. Because at this point the magnetic field redirects them to the poles, but doesn't reflect them back into space. Though I think I heard some were trapped.

SuperzMcShort I know there are no intisutions but there is a man Dr. Grey who knows what he is talking about he says its all natural which it is so it will go away trust me just watch in 2020 there will be nothing about global warming.

CO2 Rates for the Past 400k Years

Temperature for Past 400k Years

I suggest you look at that post from earlier. These graphs you show over periods of 400,000 years make it LOOK like global temperature is dependent on CO2, when in fact, CO2 is dependent on global temperature. A temperature rise is followed by a rise in CO2, the CO2 rise is roughly 30 years BEHIND the temeprature rise. I suggest you look a little closer at your graphs buddy.

It does matter, but it is natural.

Exactly.

and if there is just natural warming going on we're screwed almost no matter what

Yup.

Granted other gases like CFC's and Methane are more harmful, but they make up a significantly smaller percentage of greenhouse gasses. If global warming is to be combated, C02 levels need to be reduced.

Do you have any idea how little of our atmosphere is comprised of CO2?

I want you to find me this man who apparently knows more than anyone else. And show me published work of his that illustrates the lies that are global warming.

Oh by the way, It might seem like I argue both sides, but I hate people who argue my side who don't know sh*t. So I argue against them =P

And it doesnt matter becuase its natural which means it will run its self out and start to cool down.

Okay, I see where I got confused.

I don't think Dr. Grey is British. He has a MS in meteorology, and a PhD in geophysical sciences from University in Chicago. He also has never produced a peer reviewed paper or study about global warming to my knowledge. Didn't I tell you to find another source besides him, because at this point he may as well be a philosophy major telling you he knows the universe is static.

fine, make me learn

A photon is a particle of electromagnetic radiation.

We would also be more exposed to deadly busts of solar radiation, from which we are normally protected by Earth's magnetic field. And the loss of that shield would cause solar particles to smash into the upper atmosphere, warming it and potentially causing wrenching climate change.
