Schools based on dogma aren't going to teach you everything about your religion, they are going to teach you what's necessary to keep you in the church.

I'm not sure if some schools do this but I think that their should be "religion" classes. In these classes you learn about the most popular religions cultures, there origins, there belief, their traditions...ect. These classes will give more knowledge and understanding about the students own religion and about others religion. And will also release most of the tension and fear about a certain religion because as Gandy said "We are afraid of what we don't know".
And like the students will know about this certain religion there will be less religious wars.

Unless the government get into this and screw around with the information about a certain religion then the complete opposite will happen.

Where would this class be fit in and what sort of origin could be taught without someone crying foul?

Well it can also be a debate class in a way. When the professor is done explaining his course their can be a debate about the origin and other aspects about the religion being thought and to answer your other question I have no idea.

Oh and one last thing

we don't know

Grammar fail.

My school has that. We are public, so neutral...

Muslims are the biggest trouble makers in the world we don't need to talk about there feelings all I need is that I saw some of them fly planes into the twin towers we don't need to under stand evil people.
