I really am. Because, quite frankly, you are driving me nuts. I'm not sick of you because of what you believe in, but how freaking blind you are. This doesn't include a lot of you, but many of you are seriously becoming a blind, economically deficient set of individuals. You keep going on and on and on about how great communism and socialism are, and yet, you say capitalism is the freaking devil incarnate. You never once admit that there are flaws in the system, you never once did that. While I, myself a capitalist extremist, can honestly say that there are many flaws in the system. That leads me to believe that many, I repeat MANY, of you are far beyond extremism. You are completely beyond that point. I have yet to see some of you so much as mention the words 'flaw' and 'communism' in so much as the same post. In my personal opinion, while many of you preach open mindedness like a fanatical group of zealots, and preach atheism in the same way, you are a religious group of communists. You are nothing more than what you preach against.
And before you say the same thing about capitalism, I know that a couple of capitalists on here are the same. But the simple fact is they don't have this problem because 80% of them don't even speak about it.
Nice rant. I do agree that I see a lot of people like this. However there are people who preach their religion in the same way on this site. The same goes for people who believe global warming is a hoax. No matter what ideology you follow, there will always be people like this. It's something we have to live with.
I do agree with you though, however it's almost... or maybe is unfair to just pick out the atheists, socialists, and communists.
The only reason it might not be unfair is because communists, socialists, and atheists are the majority of this site. However the opposite goes for real life, so don't be too hard on them.
This is one of the few reasons I pride myself on Centrism. Capitalism and socialism are both flawed, but they work. Both systems offer heavy compromises - capitalism forsakes some morality for economic power, whereas socialism sacrifices economic power for morality. Either system can be good when used well, or be bad when used badly.
Well, at least some people agree with me. I'm just sick of people calling these things perfect. There are just so many that it's starting to really annoy me.
Definition of capitalst: One who has capital; one who has money for investment, or money invested; esp. a person of large property, which is employed in business.
You support capitalism, but you are not a capitalst.
On-topic I agree that there are many fanatic and overzealous persons, but we have always to remember that the internet it's a place where there is freedom of speech. You can say here all (group of persons) are morons and (form of government) sucks. But you can't go to your mom and say to her: " mom do you know something? All (group of persons) are morons and (form of government) sucks "
Actually, he's talking about how there is no such thing as a perfect economy or form of government, which is correct, and that people who think that one form of government is flawless is incorrect. Both statements are correct.
This is why most governments are of a mixed economy and government, one that has both Capitalism and Socialism, U.S.A. included. The US preaches about being the land of the free, but there are countries that have more economic freedom than we do.
The only country that is pure anything is North Korea, which is pure Socialism ; look how "well" THEY are doing... No country is complete without a steady balance, we just have more Capitalism than Socialism right now.
