Maybe take it out of your massively over funded military budget that was a massive reason for the recession? Maybe that would help.

Health care has worked all over the world. Doctors don't want it because they can't rip off the government or be selective to who they take care off. The rich shouldn't get faster or better then anyone else,but it happens all the time. My hospital [Sunbury,Pa.] let a woman die in the emergency waiting room. Reason? No insurance. Yeah,that makes sense. Things like this can't happen with Health care. [At least they shouldn't]

This is not true. Obama claims he has over a trillion dollars in savings that can be put toward the helth care plan, and I believe him. It wouldn't even be that hard. Everyone has insurance, so you no longer need to pay hospitals to care for those without insurance. Also, if the government would stop sub-contracting catering and stuff, I can see a trillion dollars in annual savings.
America needs public health care, or you will all die of dysentery. I won't say whether or not I am against his reform because I haven't looked at the economics behind it. But the truth is America blows. You have the worst legal system in the world, and the worst health care in the world. Good job.
@ klaushouse, Hey, look, not all of us will die. The politicians who already have health care won't. Also, look at North Korea, with all of it's poverty, which is even more widespread then the U.S.'s. All of that is related to NK's legal system. So we don't have the worst. By cutting useless spending from things we don't need........ and then the only ones really paying anything extra is the upper-class. No one else will see a tax increase.
