halo reach looks so awesome it would be even more awesome if you could say, customize armor with paint or designs, etc. that would be very cool to have in a halo game.

Yes indeed you are correct. There are still over 200,000 players online avg. when I sign into Halo 3. and about 10,000 for H2!!
