well its not that i dont care about the olympics, i just find that people tend to overreact to sports

I think both the Summer and Winter Olympics are a wonderful thing, both for the athletes and for their respective countries. I have several of my students whose only desire was to make the Olympic team. It doesn't pay anything, you have to get sponsorship just to afford to go and all you get is a medal. And yet people are drawn together to compete to the point of their bodies breaking down to be the best in the world.
I was just poking a little fun at the Winter Olympics, but I have the deepest respect for any Olympic athlete. And typically I'm not really known for not thinking before I post :P

Lol. In ancient greek as the armys fought, they would make a line to let the naked men go through the army and into the olimpic games. Women would not be allowed -- For obvious reasons. And I'm afraid to find out their wrestling moves.

I'm always interested in track so I know who won the fastest. xP Too bad thats summer >.>
Snowboarding I think is tight. Even though I like "StreetSnowboardin" better. since they all fall and stuff. xD

My favorite sport out of all the olympics is water polo. to bad in the U.S. they only choose to show the games at two in the morning!

im going to 2010 olimpics because its in canada and i live there and its not fake because winter olimpics is awsome ur just sad because u probily dont get snow and will never be in olimpics... but i like watching hockey snow boarding

Does it matter if it's the summer Olympics or the winter Olympics? I like all of the track events.

i dont know if some countries banning the olpmics because china is holding it im not sure if that is really gunna do anything

I do not eve consider those real olympics. They are not the classic sports like in the summer/ REAL olympics.

I think that they were made to make more mone- erm... cooperation and peace in the country among the citizens and the visitors.

hmmm i dont like the Winter olimpics much but if i had to choose i would pick toboggan.. and as for the normal olympics i would choose boxing (that is one right?)...

wait, i might be missing something, but aren't the olympics this year? also, winter sports rock. i should know, i lived in wisconsin and michigan for my whole life up until half a year ago, and there's alot of snow up there.

I quite enjoy the Summer olympics better mates, a lot more traditional activities
