Ask away in here. Before you all go accusing me of being some loser, just don't. I know I'm not the girl master, but I do know a lot about them, why they do certain things that they do, so on and so forth. So don't be shy =D
Okay time to humiliate myself. I've been with my girlfriend for over 4 years. We get along great, wouldn't want to trade her for the world.
But trying to get her in a romantic mood is about as hard as trying to get a 2 year old to sit still for 5 minutes. She's not into girlie things and tends to be down to earth, not really a big spender. Likes horror movies, not really a goth but likes the style. Won't under almost any circumstance wear a dress or skirt.
I've tried the standard stuff flowers, movie, etc. I tried being straight froward and just asking her what she likes her reply is "I don't know". So this often just leaves me grasping as straws for answers.
So any ideas on how to get someone like this into a more romantic mood?
Mage--- since you say she isn't a big spender & not too mainstream with her style, why not give her a non-traditional and personal gift--but don't spend any money. Write her a love note, and give it to her in person when you are both alone. Maybe that will set the mood. You could also make her dinner yourself and enjoy it together! I feel like not spending money, but doing something sweet is the way to go! Some evening you could also take her to your bed room, dim the lights, put on a really romantic song that you think describes how you feel about her and ask her to slow dance. Let me know is any of these ideas strike your fancy! I've got a whole bunch of ideas!!

nut now that shes sparked my romantic side how bout this.
You make a date with her and tell her to "get sexy"(very important that that is said.) then you make dinner at your place then tell her yall are going out and take her to the nearest place that has a view and or a romantic scenery. then bring a radio with a cd of some hot romantic songz...idk ne-yo or something doesnt matter as long as its hot. and dance with her tell her you love her and then go back to your place and have a movie ready and ask her to sleep over.......so does that seem like a plan to get the mood going or what?
