I am about to finish my semester and we didn't end a certain lesson till the end so the teacher said we should come on an extra day of the week till we finish it. Also add the fact that it takes me an hour to get to school and another hour to get back. I personley wouldnt go to school at that day.
Using knowledge correctly is called wisdom (and I dont mean just getting lucky, but even then you still make an aducated guess). Having knowledge and not knowing what to do with it is called stupid.
Being smart can include understanding the knowledge you need to make a correct decision. In fact, being smart means you understand. Stupid people regurgitate knowledge with no real understanding of its value.
Hell yes and Hell no. Sure all of my friends are really smart and I have an IQ of 147 but here in West Virginia I have really seen a lot of hillbillys that make me correct that statement.
Fire you claim to be 14. People that age can have IQs of well over 200 and since it is based on age when you get older it will fall. This is because you will be required to know much more to make an equivalent score. If you are not an adult IQs are fairly pointless.

no...no...no..just..no. IQ tests are FIXED on the target age, but the easiest and simplest of the tests, for the ones that give the tests, are for those that are in elementary school. There are IQ tests to take when you are young, and ones to take when you are an adult. IF you took a look at my earlier posts, I talked about how the younger IQ tests are done. Obviously, the adults could do those things in a blink of an eye. That's because they already reached their intellectual peak. You're not required to know more as you get older for tests; the tests are fixed on the older ages!
Well balerion, this is an internet gaming forum. Anyone can claim anything. and without refutable evidence no one can really say it's untrue. Hell I could say my IQ is 250, and no one can say it is untrue because they have no proof. Which is why you shouldnt get worked up about all of this. There will always be people out there who have low self esteem and seek to build an internet identity that is false to their real one. Such examples would be ShintetsuWA, who claimed to have an IQ surplus of 170, a medical student, married, 26 years old. and in the end he was discovered to be a fraud. Somethings should be taken with a grain of salt. b/c you have to remember that a lot of the people are strangers, you dont know them. they can make up anything they want to up that isnt a fact.
It is kind of funny, really. All I know is that on the IQ-equivalent test I took to get into the accelerated education program I'm in, I had to score at least a 130. So I know that I at least have the capacity to score 130 on an inaccurate IQ-equivalent test. Woohoo~
I've taken tons of tests which were supposedly 'accurate'.
The thing about IQ tests is that they were designed to test large groups of people and get some sort of average. On an individual level, there are many skills and cognitive abilities which need to be studied in far more depth to get an reliable reading.
My results have come in a range of 45 IQ points. That's the difference between average or an idiot (official term for the lowest band btw, now seen as un-PC), or between average and a genius. That's not something that gives me much faith.

Snake, that's some teachers' way of teaching us about certain subjects. Obviously, you remember a certain restaurant by the stupid jingle they play, correct? Use a jingle to learn something educational, and that's your ticket to learning something specific. Would you rather read a boring book to learn something, or would you rather do something abnormal and outside the box? I don't know about you, but I would pick the latter. forget the books.

Naaaah...It's the students' fault. It's their fault for not trying hard enough. May not be for YOUR SCHOOL entirely, but the above statement could be said for mine. Why do you think I get 98's in one standard class without so much as a single move of the pencil? The standards for that subject are low to adjust to the needs of the average student. MY average classmates....sheesh. toss a book at them, they use it for paper football practice.
Not only that, but they just don't even try. Like they don't even give a schmidt about working, even though they know darn well it's what is going to get them farther in life.
But I rant. And I'm going to continue to rant. So Snake and others. Which is more important? A teacher that knows their stuff, or a teacher that knows how to teach? Think about that for a moment, post, and I'll get back to you.
