Nah, I think we're just all getting dumber. We're relying on technologies that do stuff for us (CACULATOR!!!!) so soon we'll be able to artificial intelligence that does everything for us but then we'll be wiped out because it'll turn into a matrix-like scenario. Then again, I'll still be smart since I hate calculators.

I wouldn't say we are getting more rudimentary here in America, I would just say we aren't progressing much. They're many capable kids in America but we lose many to events like the child making a bad choice like hanging out with the wrong people or the whippersnappers just getting lazy because they want everything handed to them. We have a more lax school system here than in Europe or China. I mean look at them! Through many generations of Natural Selection, they have became more superior then us. So I would say America has as just a high IQ compared to other countries but because of them taking their education the extra mile, they have better educational habits and thus, we are getting whooped up and down the street.

You see, the topic is about Americans getting smarter. My counter argument was Twilight. Both the fact that someone wrote it and the fact that they became insanely rich because people (yes angsty teenage girls, I'm looking at you) think it's an amazing representation of American literature.
Also, not even close. You see, you are what we call "A retard". Anyone who wasn't born yesterday should know that the angsty/self hating/paler than all hell/horrible film series Twilight is based off of the angsty/self hating/paler than all hell/horrible book series of the same name. Now what I did, was Google "Twilight" and post the cover of the first book. I chose to do this because a) I thought everyone would understand the message and b) I refuse to have anything relating to Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart in any of my posts.

That movie was awful. I wish that those books were all burned in a huge bonfire. Vampires that freaking sparkle in the sun? Are you serious??? The whole burning flesh is so much better. Also those bitten by a vamp only become vamps if they give up their soul.
Smarter? HAHAHAHAHA! A smart American rarely ever exist. Back during the founding of our great nation the officials were very educated, but the people were not, and that remains here somewhat. Socialism appeared and continued to wipe our minds, creating equality, until mostly everyone became dumb.
