1) Sorry, liberals aren't Satan and conservatives aren't God. It's best to have a balance between the two. The world would fall apart if it wss all liberals *or* conservatives.
2) Socialism isn't anywhere near this country. Obama is *not* socialist, and system of government has no effect on IQ. FAIL.
I wouldn't say that Obama is a socialist, just many of the main factors of socialism appeal to him. Everyone gets this no effort, everyone gets this because others have it, you get this because the community can help pay for it. He's not a direct socialist but if he impliments enough of his plans he might as well have turned the U.S into a soon to be socialist country.
This may be different for other schools but my teachers say that if they were to teach everything there supposed to they would go at the speed of light and we wouldn't learn anything so I think even if the standards are getting higher half of it wouldn't even be taught and then next term or simester the teachers will leave off at what the board tells them to and most of the time the kids will be totally lost, and among that lots of kids are lazy and don't pay much attention.
In my math, geography, and history class this year my teachers was fuming at how far behind we were and how far behind we are with the baords expectations and how were going to be lost when we go to high school and university...
So my answer is no I don't think the American's students are getting to much smarter or maybe just a little smarter.

Lol? Teach one new thing a day and you're done with the class in a month. Look at all your classes. How many new subjects do you do over a year? 6-7 units? That's about...24-28 new topics? That's less than a month.

I don't pay attention after the first class of that subject because there's no point, after that, it's all busy work and homework.
well lets face it our parents arnt exactly that smart theyre just wise and with the invention of the computer knowledge is just easier to attain but either way people need to just take things a bit more seriosly otherwise they'll fuck themselvs up
You forgot English Xd. I mean course though, like biology we spent an entire month talking about niches. NICHES!!! How can you spend a month talking about where animals live and what place they fill. It should have been over and done in the first week, but SOMEHOW, 80% of the class didn't understand what a niche even was.
I doubt it! im one of the most intelligent students in my grade school and everybody around me just amazes me with stupidity! in history class, i was the only person that knew America lost the Vietnam war! if american grades are rising, its because A: Kids are cheating B: Teachers are going soft C: Its true
