Because NoName was being lazy, I have to make this again -.-

Even though this involves intelligence.

For forgetful people. Chances are, you don't remember your basic 7th grade math beyond what you use for trigonometry.

So I've come up with this. I give you a set of 10-20 math problems daily, and you guys answer them. These are so simple you probably don't remember them. Some of these may be a little harder, but incorporate the same principles involved.

Also, this is a point system. Those who score above 90 get 5 points. Those who score between 80 and 90 get 4. Then 3. Then 2. Then 1.

A=5
B=4
C=3
D=2
F=1

I will also give you a basic overall score. Once you sign up, you're in. Your 'grade' if you will, will fall if you do nothing.

And yes, this is me playing control freak and teacher, I'll admit it. But this will also see who can do basic stuff will relative ease. And yes, basic stuff is hard if you haven't done it in years.

Goody.

Also, as a deterant to cheating, show your work for certain problems. I will use a '!' meaning to show your work.

If caught, you lose ALL points. And your entire 'grade.'

First set of questions (only 5):

1. -77 x 84 = ?

2. 18 x 12 = ? !

3. 44 / 11 + 6 x 10 = ?

4. -17 x -12 = ?

5. 12 x 1/3 = ?

Do you know any online scrap paper type things that let you transfer an shot of said scrap paper to a website or something? Because I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to show my work online. I can't take a picture of my scrap paper and upload it.

Simple. Let's use 10 x 15.

10 x 10 would be 100. 10 x 5 = 50. 50 + 100 = 150.

That one is simple, but you get the idea. Harder problems are a bit harder, and calculators don't actually show the work process.

And don't worry, I'll only ask at most 2 on every quiz.

At least there aren't tests :P

Methinks I'll do it tomorrow. I'm procrastinating doing any more math than possible and besides, I actually do need to get to sleep...

Alright. Deadline is 6:00pm AG Time. AKA when I get online.

And don't worry. I'll be in the middle of math homework as I grade your problems.

And I'll follow your example. Night.

Here, I will do em...

1: -77 x 84 = -6468

2: 18 x 12 = 216

3: 44 / 11 + 6 x 10 = 64 (Or do you want me to Simplify it?)

4: -17 x -12 = 204

5: ... ... Give me some time for this one...

be much preferred to use an asterisk(*) for multiplication because x could be a variable.

such is the way of java....

set 1. all pretty easy, number 1 took a little while, though.
1. -77*84=-(5600+560+280+28)=-(308+560+5600)=-(868+5600)=-6468
2. 18x12=180+36=216
3. 4+60=64
4. 204
5. 4
(TheWhiteStripe, check your own #4, you have an odd answer)

....I nearly posted a positive answer for #1.
