What is evil? Honestly, how do we know what is evil, and what is good? If we say murder is evil, somewone could honestly believe not to murder is evil. Also with beliefs somewone believes a religion is wrong or evil, well that person thinks the same thing about the other. I don't think you can know what's right and wrong unless you have an ultimate standard of perfection. I believe God has set the ultimate standard of perfection for us, but we are not perfect and we fail to meet this standard. What do you guys think?

Evil is generally something that defies ethics and moral principles. For example, if you were to set up a concentration camp and kill those in it in agonizing ways, that could be considered evil.

You can't really define evil, and technically it may not exist. It's a powerful idea that cannot really be put to words but can be put to some horrible actions.

That answers your question. It is purely a opinion. No need to ask for a answer that is justified, since what is evil-what is good even-is just an opinion.

I don't see ''God'' healing my broken leg

his creations were always good at destroying each other lol

Could that mean God is evil, and that is why he does not heal your broken leg?

And creating is difficult, no? When you create it, think of how easy it is to destroy it.

Life is hardly as simple as that.

God saw all of his creation as good.

contradictory....

This makes those who believe themselves to be in the right (in this case) wrong.

can an opinion be classified as wrong? is it so that there is a general stereotyping of what 'good' is? of what 'right' is? you may say something is wrong based on the majority of approval to this statement, however, the majority could still be wrong. it is perspective because it is comparitive. you are HUGE! compared to atoms. you are TINY! compared to galaxies.

I believe that a world of perfect people would create more murder because to be truly perfect you would have to be really crazy.

Who determines who is right and who is wrong here?
That's the problem. Just because something is difficult to understand -or even just a social construct- it is not necessarily "not real".

To answer your question, I would obviously believe that I know what is right and what is wrong and that anyone who disagrees with my assessment is likely incorrect. Before anyone gets flamey, this is because I naturally believe my opinions to be correct. Me having an opinion I thought was wrong would be stupid.

Now, armchair existentialism aside, I would like to say one thing: Do not sell out your morality no matter what you believe. Most sell out their morality piece by piece. Try to not do that.

Now I ask you this.
What is good without evil?
What is evil without good?
What is neuterality without either one?

Ah, but good can cause even greater harm than evil at times.

Dungeons & Dragons's alignments system can discribe evil (as well as good and neuteral) to a certain extent
