I PossibleInstability, am starting a club where fellow Atheists can meet each other and talk. I have met few Atheists and I would like to meet some more.
The funny part is that story is from the Jewish bible which wasn't good enough for Christians to accept.
O Rly?
Well, Let's suppose that the Bible is the direct word from God. But wait, Christians haves scriptures from the Jewish God. Contradiction?!
Let's be rational, The Christian bible was not half written by the Jewish God. But either way, religion always finds a way to contradict it self in some way.
Wow are you f*cking retarded Bjiscuit? If you had read, you would have known I was talking about Moe's post saying that there are some parts of the Bible that are written by the Jewish God.
I obviously don't believe that, I also don't believe that the Christian God wrote the Christian Bible. Maybe 'cause I don't believe in a God.

How come the Jews and Christians can't have the same God?

get your head out of your a$$ please n thanks. =)
i wanted to know what parts of the bible he was refering to and what source does he use to back up that claim.

I'm cool with sharing the same god....anyways the main difference is that most religions are against the fact that Jesus Christ it the messiah and has nothing to do with god also with major religions they all have a higher level of god even if they worship many gods god is among them.
OK CAN WE ALL TAKE AN F'ING CHILL PILL PLEASE .... thank you ... can we stop arguing and just share thoughts not find holes and try to make them bigger thank you (if you were a decent human being then you would be doing this already ... )

*Wow, I'm about to blow. But I'll keep my cool.*
(Schoolteacher voice)
Well, young one, why don't you learn to use quotes correctly. If you wanted to know what parts he was talking about maybe you should of asked him.
I'm cool with sharing the same god....
Can a religion do that? I didn't know you could accept another religion's deity. You don't see Buddhists walking around chanting "Praise Zeus, the king of all gods."

Obviously Buddhists don't pray to Zeus. Not all religions share teh same God/Gods. But, I'm just talking about Christians and Jews. The history of Catholicism starts with Judaism, hence it makes sense to me that they would have the same God. Just wondering, why do you disagree about those two religions specifically not believing in the same God?

I was referring to what trayz said
How come the Jews and Christians can't have the same God?
...i wasn't saying i would like to change my religion, or anything...I'm just saying if Jews and Buddhist and everybody else could come to a agreement about god then yeah can't we share him? now yeah you can still say yeah Jesus Christ isn't the messiah but don't blame or get mad at God.
Well I guess I see where you're coming from. It basically is the same God, it's just that Jews don't believe Jesus has been crucified yet, or something like that.
