Well I have been browsing through the forums lately, and I have seen a lot of posts saying they hate America, The USA sucks, yadda yadda yadda. Here is what I have found just in a 2 minute period of time.

Personally I don't think USA is the best country, but the worse!

I hate most Americans.

They are racists

Their goverment is awfull

I don't like all americans.

america sucks

Now thats just me scavenging over a 2 minute time span. Imagine a 5 minute time span. That would insanity.
Anyway, when I joined AG everybody seemed nice and friendly. Now I just don't feel comfortable here anymore. I will warn you. The site is half American right? So if you guys keep this up, you will lose a lot of popularity.

Not all of Europe. Only Ireland. XD

Also, as for the whole "stupidity" thing, you realize that there are three groups of people in North America: The smart ones who care about their education, the ones that try to be smart and want an education, and the ones that don't care what lies in their future, and "live for the moment!"

I garuntee you one of those guys in the last group will become a World Leader somehow, and through his moronic acts, billions will suffer and die...

It's hard to believe, but George W. became president, and Stpehen Harper became Prime Minister. Stupid choices will be made.

I don't think that many people hate America. It's just that America is an easy target for humiliation.

(ex.fattest country, most are dumb)

I know those are stereotypes, but many countries have come to believe these things as true. America needs to work on it's reputation. I would start at its government.

The keyword here is Reported. For all we know, there could have been so many unreported crimes that could have landed the United States at the top of the list. Never take into conclusion that fact is solid.

The fact that the united States is the only superpower, will obviously bring about more attention and media coverage then other countries. Now, the growing hatred is something that is true. But you have to take away the people who seem to jump the bandwagon simply because their friends are doing it.

Sure every now and then an American will go about as if he were on-top the world. (Which is false by the way, his country being a superpower does not bring about and special treatment for him) But remember, not all Americans are spreading hate among their own country.

You go around, you'll find Americans that are just like everybody else. 'Normal' just like the rest of us. But, that is overshadowed by the over patriotic, flag waving American, who sits on his computer chair, going about the Internet and starting flame wars with other members of the International community.

You ask, how that has any effect on the outside world? Well, simply put it this way. Now, before these over patriotic 'ruffians' had to say everything by mouth. Which would result in a beating of some kind. But now, the computer screen is their Savior. Where they have no consequence to face. They can shoot all they want, without a care in the world. That prompts them to continue. The fact that other members of the International community see these comments, only seduces the stereotype and image of America.

It's all a big connection. Even the littlest things make a huge impact in the end.

They keyword here is 'could'. I'm not going to rely on things not reported, who knows, Madagascar could have been at the top of the list. All these crimes I have listed are reported, so I'm going with that.

I agree. Which is why I repeat: America needs to start working on it's reputation.

Alright, America could be number one, but this only means that you yourself still lacks proof that there is higher crime in America than anywhere else in the world, meaning that you can not make such a claim.

Exactly my point. Any country could be #1. I say, let's base our facts on findings we do have. (I hope that makes sense.)

My claim was more so an example. It was more of a counter to the 'facts' provided. Where as the list was 'Most Reported' crimes. The United States could have been anywhere on that top ten, or not even on the top ten at all.

It's just with the constant 'America has the world's largest crime rate' and 'More of a chance to get shot in Washington DC then it is in Iraq' etc, that I mentioned that reported crimes and non reported crimes are in two different categories.

Did you know Vatican City is #1? 1 per 1,000 people. :O

Maybe it's because like 1,000 people live there anyway, but still!

They have murders in the Vatican? That's kind of surprising.
