We've updating Colony to version 2.0 right now. Here will be the changes in the update:
New Buildings and Units
With the war in Athenia still raging on, all the governments have been pushed to develop new technologies. As casualties pile up, the Hospitals have been forced to upgrade into War Sanctums to cope with the number of bodies being rushed into Emergency Care every hour.
The Saint watches over the sky and proves a fearsome guardian over the city. New Far-Range sniper rifles have been developed to siege enemy forces from a great distance. The prototype android, A27-Pride is now in mass production to provide support fire.
New Game Mechanics
The game should run a little bit smoother now, and allow you to reach up to Rank 10 on multiplayer. A lot of rebalancing has been done on existing units, especially the Sakata and the Groditz. You can also now double click a unit to select all units of that type.

I'm still working on an anti hack system, and the Fox server has been programmed into the game (we just don't have the server yet). Expect there to be a string of smaller updates throughout this week as we put in additional features little by little
Hard-hard is not that difficult. Be communist or capitalist, hospital first, make 3~4 medics when you wait for resource to build an outpost.
Peek the enemy. If they both go for the same tech it could be an easy game. Agaist 2 outposts make chronites, extreme mass loads of them. Against 2 forges make marines non-stop and send them in waves. Once romans are spotted make a few tanks. Eventually push into enemy front where your mass marines will kill any air units just produced by the enemy.
The real trouble comes when one of them make a forge and another build outpost, even worst if the other have outpost first (which will come with snipers). If your ally is outpost too you're pretty much screwed, although if your tactics are good you can still defend well with mixed units and eventually have lots of tank and marines enmassed.
the game can be hard if you play dogfight and vs 2cpus what do forge and then its not fun or if you play a hacker or a bad partner in mutiplayer .(i still hate giltchers...always will) .
There's a glitch that caused my account to become rank 10 (with only 250 wins) I was rank 5 and after the update was released I played a game and. I became rank 6. Won another match. Rank 7. Every time I won I gained a rank until I reached rank 10 well my player is rank 9 with less then 100 wins its all about winratio i think casue if you start a new player and win 37 games in a row no loseing you get to rank 7i still hate giltchers .
I believe Colony ranks work on a point system, where each win is, lets say, 10 points, and each loss is, maybe, -7 points. And, each rank is a certain number of points, like, rank 7 is 370 points, or 37 straight wins.
None of us know the true way ranks are calculated, but I think this is pretty close, or is the general idea. I ranked from rank 7 to rank 10 in 3 games, but then again, I have a 90% win ratio, 253/282. :/

Win is 30, lose is 10, consecutive wins over 3 = 15 points each, stacking on top of each other and the regular win amount. Rank 7 is 10,000 points, getting from rank 6 to 7 is about as much as 1 to 5.
When I stated my ratio, I meant it as an example for why I ranked so quickly. I didn't want people to misunderstand and call me a hacker for ranking in 3 games so quickly, like so much of the players have already called my alt, DamnArmory, for reaching rank 7 with 37 games. >>"
