Hi All!

Just reminding you all that NaNiWriMo is on once again, head here

If you haven't heard of it before, the idea is that you write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November.

I tried last year and epically failed, but I know that some other people from this Forum completed it (I hope...)

Annnnd...I'm not going to do it this year because it would be too much effort and November is going to be realllly busy for me.

Enjoy!

I should basically give up. I only got 1000 more words in an hour long train ride.

No don't give up Gantic!!!!!

If i was able to do four 15 min sprints without losing concentration I could possibly get 2k in an hour...

Both my MLs are past 50k....I'm 2k behind the daily goal...

And I have an assignment on Rabbit Proof Fence to complete...

Can the deadline be later? I'll be in China for twelve days.

But I have motivation to write, it is meant for a special someone, just I though I'll enter.

I have some catching up to do (missed two days of writing, so I'm down about 4,000 words) not to much, but I gotta cover it quickly.

Dunno if I get anything done today, hopefully I do... Writing is hard work, and I think this is more than I have ever written in one stretch before. Much more.
Any good advice on when to start the actual story? because too early will get you to the climax too fast, and too late, well, will bore the reader more than they already are...

Conventional plot structure is blah.

Also, I'm at 11,000 words and I still have a main character to introduce.

Whooo yeeeeah, cracked 30k words! Which makes the manuscript itself 40k words, and I'm halfway through the action scene at the end of the first (of four) parts.

Complicated story is complicated. I think I'm going to have to draw a schema of the individuals and the groups.

4000+ and I only have two of my party members on the chart... The third (of like, five or so) is still chapters away...

I really should get back to writing.

Not a comic, but my log of revisions and changes is now too big for me to read easily -_-

I do have drawings of my characters, and I find myself desperately wanting to paint caricatures of the cast now.

Action scene is finally wrapping up, phew! Man, it was a toughie, but I managed to introduce another two characters during it.

Now, my progress report says I should only write 1460 words per day now... Though still wondering wth happened the fourth...

Does these work?

I'm procrastinating right now. I am really relying on thanksgiving break.
