I want to know which state you people think is the worst.Personally I am from Ohio so I hate Michigan. I also hate New Jersey

I also don't know why everybody hates California. It has a population of over 35 million, so I suspect 1/10 of all Americans on this forum come from there...

In what way is Hawaii screwed? They're like the perfect state, and they don't really have government issues.

They're in the middle of nowhere and everything costs too much. Plus it's a huge tourist trap.

that's just their ways of getting economic benefits. Besides that, all they have is... sugar. Besides, Hawaii is just plain beautiful. Best vacation you would ever take, at least for me

I don't see how that's a problem. It doesn't feel isolated when you visit it.

Plus it's a huge tourist trap.


Most states have at least one tourist trap inside their border. Hawaii just happens to have the most of one.

If I'm not mistaken, Hawaii is the poorest state in the Union. I went there when I was 10. The tourist areas are really nice. But away from the beaches, it's really crappy.

I'm going to say Alabama, just because it's in the deep south and has some pretty ugly history there.

Alabama is a great state and every region including the north has terible history, in Vermont the government sterilized all the indians and aborted their babies. The only states without bad history are the 2 that were founded in the mid 1900s which are Alaska and Hawaii.
