im an fucking TIRED of people hating on rap music. honestly your just jelous that there so rich and succesfull and your not.

i FUCKING HATE IT! its the stupidist thing ever when sombody has never even heard of a group and they automatically hate it because of its genre.
i mean believe me i listen to some waked out shit. i listen to death metal all the way to jack johnson. i love musiic and musical talent. more then anything.

If you like one genre of music, it's harder to like music that is completely different than the one you like. People who like rock probably don't like rap because there is less instruments going during a rap song.
Maybe we just majorly-dislike rap entirely (raises hand). I could go on and on about the different styles, gestures, and actions and behaviors that rap has an effect on the people that listen to it, but I'm not going to bore you guys with a 20 foot long wall of text.
Long story short, I want the creators and those that influence rap dead. Now then, it's nice, and somewhat amusing, that you would make a thread totally about flaming those that dislike rap, but it's something that none of us really like to see or care about.

because what it is and what it's about is totally why I flip channels and switch stations whenever a rap song comes on.
Well its true every genre of music requires a different taste of music to enjoy. If someone doesn't like rap then why should you care. Your treating it almost like a religion from where I am standing. Some rap for me is OK, mainly parodies and such, but a majority of mainstream rap is annoying to listen to, and since its based solely around the lyrics you would expect them to be at least decent or somewhat poetic like they used to be, but if you ever listen to people like Lil Wayne....well they just don't make the cut from my stand point. The thing is black metal, and screamo music to me are just as bad, if not worse a lot of the time because the vocals sound like a guy who is either drowning or imitating the cookie monster. My point is that people are not going to like rap in general and your going to have to get over it.
This thread really makes me mad. The TS is mad at people for not liking a specific genre of music even if they haven't heard a particular artist. That's ridiculous. Some people just don't like certain styles of music. It's called opinion, dumbass. Everybody's got one, but that doesn't make any one person's wrong.
im not flaming rap haters. im just saying people do it more with rap then anything else. i know plenty or "gangsters" that hate rock for rock.

when a friend gives me a song to listen to wether it be country or pop i atleast listen to the song and give it a chance. i do just flame it cause of its genre. now THATS rediculous
lol you can only not like a song if you have listened to it before. So if you say you hate the Jonas brothers you obviously have listened to their music.
thats what bugs me so much though! people say they dont even like a song and they've never even heard it before.(not refering to the jonas brothers spacifically 0_o)
