Following Eddie's question on who did track, I was curious to see what kind of physical activity people do, and how fit people saw themselves.
This is a general survey, so you can give as many or as few details as you like. Also remember that people are all different, in age, body type, and activity, and I'm not here to judge people for being unfit etc.
I'll give y'all an example: 20yo male, 5'11", 150lbs. I see myself as hyperactive in the extreme, and I exercise at least 15 minutes every day, especially when I'm bored or taking a break from something. I have several years' experience in martial arts (mainly tae-kwon-do and kung fu, but also capoeira), free-run and trick (acrobatics), breakdance with a crew for about two hours every week and do ballroom/latin another two hours per week.
I'm not as fit as I used to be when I was playing college soccer.
Nowadays, I run a few miles everyday (depends on my mood). I'm on a high protein diet right now and lifting because I'm trying to gain about 15 pounds of muscle. I play intramural soccer on the weekends. I also will do push up and crunches at work because I'm that bored. So, boredom leads to me being fit.
27, 5'9" and about 160. I hate running, but I do it every day. I cycle in and out of lifting - right now I'm in an "out" cycle. I like doing biathlons and triathlons and I'll be running my first marathon in a few months - ugh. I play soccer and ultimate frisbee during some weeks and I've started fencing pretty regularly again. I used to do Sanshou, but I really really don't like getting hit in the face :P
23 6,2 175. Joined RAF so on strict fitness regime but i took up boxing wich rele helped. A way to get fit in no time is learning how to skip properly like a boxer. 10 mins of skipping is the equivalent of 1 hr of jogging. Just a tip to pepl wanting 2 get in2 good shape
Hey, we have some lifters here! Anybody got any recommendations, preferences etc.? I did it for a while until gym memberships got too expensive. Now, I don't bother with doing bench when my own body seems to serve just as well (if not better, in some circumstances- you try doing a bench action while doing a handstand!)
Just one thing: if you're talking numbers, don't tell me your one-rep max, haha. Only full sets count :P
I'm about 5'9" and 250 lbs, give or take a fudgeicle. I play football though, so I'm really fit. Some people call me fat, but I'm not, it's really just muscle because muscle weighs more than fat. I'm so fit that I don't need to exercise, I can just stay home and watch TV all day. It's pretty awesome.
I'd like to think I am fairly fit, and working on getting fitter. I work out almost every day of the week recently. I train 3-4 times a week for 30min, then do cardio for an hour on the days I don't train.
5'11" 200 or so pounds. Slightly overweight, but I'm really stocky. My muscle never goes away for some reason either, even as I get weaker. It's odd. . . .

I'm 17, 5 foot 8 inches, 8 stone (BMI of 16.7), I don't "work out" per se but I do have a Wii Fit which I use of their is nothing on TV and it is raining outside (which with England and ITV being on is often ) I play football 4-5 hours a day and cylce 40 minuts to school (per day). My diet is bad but I don't eat much. I've always veen thin and weedy and can eat what I like (mmm... profiteroles) Like I say I'm not fit.
