Here is an interesting question, what if America was invaded by land, by another huge army. What I am saying is if both the east and west coast were invaded by millions of foot soldiers that would move across the entire country. Think of this if like a D-Day happened in America. So where would you go? What would you do? Would you fight or hide? Hey you never know if this could happen but America would probably have a nuke war before this happens.

An unlikely scenario for America to be taken over. The only slight chance of the USA ever collapsing is the end result of an all out nuclear war with Russia; which would leave nothing left to even fight over.

Yeah the USA would be left inhabitable for a very long long time so I guess no country wants to take that risk especially if it has valuable resources under its land.

There are other factors to continue other than just the sole objective of obtaining resources; states always aim to maintain dominance to ensure their survival, if it reaches the critical phase where it endangers the survival of another nation, all out war might ensue.
Of course, the possibility of this happening in the world today is extremely slim.

You first have to define grudge. The French and Germans have many historical grudges with one another, yet none of them are asinine enough to wage war with each other.
And charisma doesn't mean war. Look at Gandhi for instance. Or Mandela. Did those nations go to war? No.
Just because there are inner grudges, and ballistic rhetoric doesn't mean two countries will even go to war, let alone have a good enough reason to.

Only companies without major dealings with the US would survive. That leaves a ton of companies that would be in serious trouble, meaning a lot of people are out of jobs. When a lot of people lose their jobs suddenly there aren't enough open jobs and many people end up jobless. Thats how the modern world economy works.

Yes it would be. If a country does not do something to protect its citizens in case of economic distaster it is the governments fault. If that country has major business dealings with US business then they need to either help protect the US or build a saftey net for their citizens.

example? example: germans trade for 100 billion whit the us market and have 2 mill people working in germany for the us market. (not real numbers, just made up for the example) and the same amount in germany go's to the chinese market. and a;so the russians they trade whit. then in a hypothetical war whit usa vs china & russia, then the odds for germany are. 2mill people and 100 billion. or 4 mill people and 200 billion. hmmmmm what would germany do? help the us, help it's enemies or hope for the best.

i can't speak for other countrys but the dutch government would not be able to choose between tha usa and china. usa will leave us be. were no thread to them and we are good for about 8 million jobs on the usa (you read it right, we give you jobs aswell even half of our own amount of people) and the netherlands and china have the oldest uninterupted trade agreement in this world. (somewhere around 1600, beginning of the dutch golden age) and our countrys are prety close actualy. china would not harm us either.

Do you not remember the recent recession? Have you ever heard of the Great Depression? When the market shrinks rapidly THERE ARE NO JOBS in anything heavily involved with that market.

If the government sees it coming but doesn't have the money they should go to people or companies likely to still have jobs or exist and ask for help.
