i watched them before,though i think i forgot abit of dbz...... ive been watching air gear,.hack//sign,.hack//roots and .hack//ledgend of twightlight,and im getting bored watching only 4 anime......
You kids confuse anime with stupid shows that YTV and kids channels show in english. All animes are butchered completely in english. Biggest example is One Piece being completely ruined by translation. By god is it badass with subtitles, the shit they say is awesome compared to shitty americanized translations. Here's a decent starter list of some amazing animes you should consider, I've watched them all and can vouch, and this is more mainstream stuff, if you want more in depth later on when you are into it I can give you that too. And remember watch with subtitles and not dubbed.

Japanese Anime... Because the English anime is... not anime? Agreeing with Klaus here, decent list of awesome. Everything dubbed is not really worth listening to, and without the voices it is annoying to watch anime.
Im an american animator and writer who works on cartoons mainly, and to be completely honest there is only one anime i have ever awtched and enjoyed, that was this odd fucking war drama called "Heros of a galactic empire"
Personally, I dislike anime. When it comes to TV shows, King of the Hill is probably my favorite show, along with Scrubs and Arrested Development.
I can't explain why I dislike anime, because it's hard to explain. Though I dislike anime, Full Metal Alchemist is my favorite. In fact, Full Metal Alchemist is my favorite show. I enjoy Full Metal Alchemist more than King of the Hill, Scrubs, and Arrested Development!
There are 100 episodes and a Movie. They are making more episodes, but I think they are explaining the original 100 through back stories. So far they don't have any with English Subtitles.
Full Metal Alchemist, I would give it a shot. You know how when you switch from Japanese to English and the voice acting is so drastically different it makes you want to stab a pencil in your ears? You won't experience that with FMA.
