There is a war on Colony. Krin and players like me versus the cheaters. Colony is getting out of control these days. I remember when the game came out it was so big that the first server was packed all the time, so I stuck to the campaign. I used to play every mission so much that I wanted to see which missions the player's partner could win without you, and how long it could take the player's partner to lose. Then Beatrix came out then I started my online account. I became one of the pros in a week. When I was rank 3, I beat Theos, a rank 5 who was considered the best by a group of pros, in a one on one. This is when I realized that on one on one games would be won by the player who uses the best strategy using the Forge and Outpost. A few weeks after, a player called darkerchon found me, and beat me many times with the same strategy. After the first two games, I just played him just so I could learn his strategy. This player was the best, but he left quickly, after I somehow perfected his strategy. This led me to further my win ratio to a higher number. It was fun because I never saw a hacker, until the release of version 1.14. At that time, there were only a few who knew how to hack, so I really did not mind. The life on Colony was not really affected by this, until a hacker posted a forum on cheatengine.com. It had all the scan codes and stuff, so then Colony's hacker population went up. Then Krin released version 1.15, I think. This update came with the two new ranks 6 and 7. By this time, I played so many one on one games with others, that I reached rank 7 in two games after this addition was added. Then in another update Krin took away the one on one feature, which made me upset because I liked playing the best players for wins, but I continued in my path to form the best one on one strategy. Soon after, I noticed more hackers on Colony, so I made a topic called Colony: "List of Hackers" by SOMASTER. It had a list of all the hackers I personally saw using hacks, and suspects that other players reported to me. Later on, Krin released version 2.0, which came with three new units, one new building upgrade, fixed typos, a new resource increaser, and change cost for some units. Then Krin released version 2.1, which came with the ranks 8, 9, and 10. It took me awhile to reach rank 10 because of all the one on one games I played that did not count. It was fun trying to see how to make these units part of my strategy. Then Krin released version 2.2, which finally had the power to stop hackers for good, using the smartfox system. Well, it was working for a week until a veteran hacker, posted a topic on a website that had a hacked version of 2.1, which comes with the hacks. This is why the smartfox system does not work anymore. Well before the hackers started using this website, they planned an attack on Colony. It involved compromising my SOYMASTER account because I was the one who made the topic on armorgames.com called Colony: "List of Hackers" by SOYMASTER. The plan was to hack my account, and spam all over the community of armorgames.com, so that account of my would be banned for a while. Well when this was happening, Colony was being overrun be the players who were using the hacked Colony website. This made people tell Krin that there was hack to override the smartfox system, but it was a hack it was a copy of an older version, so this led Krin to make fast updates to colony in a 24-hour time period. Now this is where we are now in the life on Colony, version 2.5. Now I got information that a player who used to go by Coltongrundy, he has a new account now, is tell all the new players on Colony about the hacked Colony website, which adds more hackers to the game, and this is why so many new accounts are appearing that are rank 10. The war has turned in favor to the cheaters, but Krin and the players that never cheated are still trying as hard as they can to stop this madness, and get Colony back under control. Right now Colony is holding on by a strand of hair trying not to die. I hope Krin wins this waronce and for good.
My response is, I am taking Spanish I this semester in school, so it interfered with my English. I only got my grammar up because I got the H1N1 Virus, which got me out of school for a week.
Did you just imply that getting the H1N1 virus improves your grammar? Lol
Did you just imply that getting the H1N1 virus improves your grammar? Lol

LOL did anyone else read this?
My response is, these two posts go together, so I can kill two birds with one stone. I was out of school for seven days. This help done my research paper and improve my English that my Spanish class ruined.

I see. Well I'm not entirely sure how a Spanish I class ruins your native language...but I hope that you were not affected too badly by the virus.
Well, it possible to win a dogfight by having one person do scouts and hold an early up blockade, than for the other to tech up and get BQs and Saints (blockade = influence)
I see. I should have gone back in a day, but the schools are forcing kids with the H1N1 Virus to stay home for 7 days.
Sorry to bring this back up, but i just reread this:
Now my next plan of action is to make a strategy that uses both the outpost and forge and possibly the special operations building equally with no flaws.
YOS, you do realize that there are only 4 building spaces...and you plan on having three different buildings that USE resources? I hate to tell you, but this idea is a fail. Never have a spec ops as one of your primary buildings. What I mean by this, is that I have had many games in which after 10 minutes of build up, I sell one building, make spec ops, destroy all units, and demolish with my units. But seriously, don't make forge, outpost, and spec ops. It will fail.
Definition of professional:Professional; performed by persons receiving pay.
My response is, shockingly I am paid to do this. Do not ask who pays me. I think the person is retarded just to pay me for doing this.
Alright, I'll be 100% straight with you. You're exactly who I thought you were, and that's this: You've played Colony for a pretty long time, have gotten better than most people, started playing with other high ranking people, and most importantly, overestimate yourself. Sure, at your age, I did the same thing, and now, as I look back...that's not what people respected. People respect a player who's good, and doesn't announce it to the world. You say you're much respected...and I don't know by who, nor do I care for you to make a list of people who you think respect you...because the fact is, that list would be 10x longer if you didn't self-promote. I'm telling this for your own benefit, the same way that I wish someone had told me when I was 16. You're a good player, yes, but you REALLY need to take a step back and remember that you're another teenager, playing a flash game, and that you're better than a majority of the layed back guys who play it for fun. This doesn't make you a respectable person. I agree, it is always best to learn from your errors, but I can tell you haven't learned the real error. You know some strategies, but the error is outside of Colony. Remember...this isn't meant to diss you or put you down, only to put things in perspective, and try to help you as a person.
My response is, I never said I was the best, but I did say I am one on the best. It is hard to tell who the best player is with all the hackers on Colony. Last, I think the reason I am known by most players is that I am trying to help Krin in any way I can to get Colony cheater free.
Uh, wat? Your grammar isn't so great. And it normally doesn't leave that sort of impression on people just from having good grammar. But you are pretty good, I guess. It's just... why think of yourself as the very best of the best?
My response is, I do not think I have played you, but I do not say I am the best of the best. I do get beat occasionally.
Indeed, I have to admit I am incredibly impressed with the number of patches...you want to talk about dedication? Talk about Krin. This is a free online game site and he's pumping out patches and "fighting the war against hackers" like it's his job. Kudos to Krin.
My response is, Krin is no doubt the most dedicated player of Colony.
Soy, quick question, any particular reason you put "my response is" at the beginning of your comments? It's bugging me for whatever reason, not to sound like a jerk. Just saying.

Hahaha, I was kinda wondering the same thing...but I thought I might as well just leave it out. Although it is unnecessary lol YOS
My response is, well I think it is more civilized to say that if you, or anyone is replying to a post. It also organizes the topic a little.
Even if you find 10 hovers on your doorstep, without any form of army, it is still possible to come back, destroy it, and win the game with a counterattack. I don't think build order would be considered a losing move (unless it's like, REALLY bad...). Something along the lines of accidentaly moving your sniper army into a couple of phantoms' ranges because you clicked charge instead of fall back... And uhh...I'm pretty sure you'd end up with a flaw if you have spec ops, forge, and outpost...you'd only end up with a single resource building...so yes, it would have a flaw, which is a lack of resources compared to other stratgeies.
My response is, well in this case it was not countering his build order that made me lose. I will somehow make a strategy that uses the forge, outpost, and it might include the special operations building, but it will take time.

Oh, and there are comebacks, even after a losing move
And since lala used another game as an example I will too... (teh game bfme2)
Here I was, getting owned by a camping elf noob. I myself was Isengard. My opponent used all of the noob tricks, which are hard for even good players to get around. I call them noob tricks, because most respectable people agree on not using them. Anyway, as a last ditch effort, I massed out about 5 beserkers, snuck around his defenses and took out his fort. To bad that didn't win me the game, because I have to destroy all of his Unit production buildings. I was hard on cash, he had the equivalent to a blockade set on me. For a LAST ditch effort I made a battlion of wargs, fully upgraded them, sent them around his blockade and defenses, and managed to destroy his last unit production buildings. He knew the noob tricks, but he was still a noob...[/offtopic]
