Are there any other Republicans on this site? Just asking, most people on this site seem pretty liberal.

Yes, but do you know what comes after liberalism? Socialism. After that? Communism. I'm not saying that all liberals/democrats are socialists, but if we aren't careful, we could end up that way.

Btw, I'm classified as a Republican, but I will support whoever I believe to be the best candidate.

Libertarians only change certain laws and procedures in order to better change current situations, both federal and state wise, not change the entire fabric of our system of government and/or the ways in which we deal with economics.

Remember, Socialism is economic limitations, not a form of government. I'm all up for that actually. Did you know that we have socialism in the U.S. today? It's pretty much saving us from having Monopolies.

What's so unhealthy is that Conservatives are unwilling to change anything and keep laws and procedures the same as traditional ways.

The world=Not self-imploding.
Why change that?

Oh yes, if something tragic happened, of course they would be willing to change! XD

They would just change differently than the Democrats, because political parties of the U.S. are organizations of non-metric buttholes XD

libertarians aren't the same as liberals. How is Socialism not a form of government? Also, change in the fabric of government doesn't have to be sudden and drastic, like the American Revolution, it can be subtle and slow. Bit by bit we are moving further and further to the left. Slowly our federal government is attempting to destroy our freedoms. Freedom of speech: Blacklist anyone who speaks against them Freedom of Press: Censor any form of non-conforming media. Right to Bear Arms: Pass gun laws to restrict the usage and purchasing of guns. Our economy is collapsing, our government is rotting, and our people are suffering in poverty. How has the stimulus package helped the economy? How is welfare helping people? Both simply cause laziness and an unwillingness to work. If we want more jobs to help the economy, we need to get rid of any illegal immigrants, stop outsourcing to other countries, and put stricter requirements on welfare and disability.

That sounds more like Socialism to me

Socialism is economic limitations in order to keep things in check. AntiTrust laws for example.

Freedom of speech: Blacklist anyone who speaks against them

link. That sounds like something unconstitutional...

Right to Bear Arms: Pass gun laws to restrict the usage and purchasing of guns.

Gun licenses? I really do think the only restriction is to have use of guns in your private property and only that alone. Licenses are just so not everyone is able to use a gun. You gotta have experience to prevent any accidents from occurring.
