This topic was made to expose all of the cheaters in Colony.
Cheater - A player that plays unfairly. There are four known types of cheaters, which are facilitators, hackers, exploiters, and the suspected. Their descriptions are listed below.
Facilitator - A Player who play Colony on a hacked version of the game. This means that the player is cheating, but did not hack. This kind of player should be avoided. This player will only get off the list if the website that is being used is locked off online access, for instanece the Arcade prehacks version of Colony cannot be used to play online.
Hacker - A player who use a downloaded software to hack the game. This means that the player is a hacker. This player should be avoided. This player cannot redeem himself or herself after being caught.
Exploiter - A player who uses an earlier version of Colony to cheat. What this means is, if we are running on Colony 2.7 and a player is running on 1.12 (This is before the hotkeys were fixed), then that person is exploiting. This player should be avoided, but I have no problem playing them in a normal game, with no restrictions. This player cannot redeem himself or herself.
Suspected - A player who has been accused of Cheating. I (or someone else who I trust) will look into their style of game play before putting them into a list. This player should not be avoided, but you should play them at your own risk.
If you want to report a Cheater, please report them is the format below, or I will not look into their game play style.
Why do you care if people cheat on colony? It's just a boring flash game. It even says in the description that it's a kind of remake of starcraft, which I must say is much better.
u cant compare the 2. ones a flash game by some college kid, the others by blizzard. wtf kasic??
Yeah true that. Blizzard is an outstanding brand. I, myself, must admit that I was an avid World of Warcraft player back in the day. They are a really good gaming company. Hands down the best paid games.
Come on guys , we all know that hackers are bad people who shouldn't have been born in the first place but what happens if someone is not intending to hack against other players?
Example:The hacker wants to use his abilities against CPU's only so he makes a game with title"none can enter".They don't care.If he tries to get them out they start saying that he is a di*k, a s*ssy and whatever else.So it is not always the hackers's fault.
doom, he can do one on single player, and/or start the game really quickly as well. also, "dogfight" is a good title to do because a lot of people avoid that senario, even if it is just a normal battle once you click on it. as for the list, there are far too many glitchers and hacks to count, try and take out the main "glitch researchers", but they will probably just start a new acc if they are caught.
