This kind of speaks for itself, but i'll explain my point. During the past hundred years or so, teenagers are reaching physical maturity faster than they used to, this is due to the artificial hormones and supplements in foods and drinks. This is becoming a problem in the views of some because you have physically mature people with the maturity level of a 13-14 year old or less. This has led to issues such as teenage pregnancy. Should we as a society adapt to this new change in human development or should we take out those hormones which are now an intergeral part of our business, food industry and drink companies? This is a very diverse subject so bring in anything you think supports your view or whether or not you even believe this to be true.
You aren't making any points. Fart jokes have existed since the beginning of time. What makes you think that this just started? And how does a 30 year old laughing at a childish joke mean that the world is less mature?
You know what, nevermind this thread, because obviously no one gets what im trying to say.
Well, you have to consider that many mistake what mental maturity is. I'm really sick of people who come up to me and my friends when we are telling stupid jokes and laughing hysterically and say "You're so immature!".
What they don't understand is that real maturity is (or at least should be) based on the important decisions that you make, not on whether or not you are having fun. Their idea of "maturity" is someone with no friends, a 4.0 grade average, and acts all tough and stuff.
Who, me? No. I joined two months after my 12th birthday.
Anyway, what I meant to say on the previous page was that being a young person doesn't give your opinions on maturity more or less weight, at least in the context of this discussion. I apologize in advance for my bad wording, so it's fixed before it becomes a problem. :P
I know, but I just thought that hearing the opinion of someone who falls under the group of which the topic is talking about might have a little bit of significance. I wasn't really saying that because I was younger, but because the the topic was kind of about people like us. I apologize if what I said kind of tipped you off a little. I was not trying to say that younger people have a more important opinion.
Okay, now that we have that settled, I'm going to continue talking to FallenSky. Nice chatting with you .

They have life experience, we have a view from the trenches. It more or less puts things in balance.
Lol, it didn't at all. I don't take the internet seriously enough for it to annoy me.
Believe me, it's possible to do both. Otherwise I wouldn't have much an inflated rank

Tell that to all the adults that don't believe that children have opinions or a say in anything that happens to them. I've had problems with this for a long time, ignorant adults think they know everything better than I do simply because they are older, but when it comes down to it I generally know more. Not all the time, but more often than not. It's like research papers in high school, what you know doesn't matter at all, you have to go off what other people say, because you aren't old enough in the view of society to form your own conclusions.
