Hello armor forums, I just came here to voice my opinions. Before I get started, I would just like to say I am an adolescent and I understand what's happening. I would just like to say that my peers disgust me. They don't appreciate knowledge. Most kids equate being smart and clever with having no friends. Most of those who are clever start acting idiodically on purpose, just because the "cool" kids aren't so smart. I absolutely loathe it. Earlier today, I was thinking: If my peers are the ones to be tomorrow's world leaders, then I may slit my throat because if they don't change, we're all screwed. I don't want someone who automatically shuns the quiet kid or the geek or the not so pretty one just because they are different to be in charge of me. I want someone who will understand people's opinions. I want someone who will care about the people with good ideas. It's time for people of my kind to take the stage and tell people what they are doing. I'm not trying to sound like a complete snob, but I'm afraid there is no one else that is responsible anymore. Kids treat things as a joke, like if they mess up time and time again, it's ok. Again, I'm not saying I'm perfect, no one is, I'm just saying that people do not think about the reprucussions of their actions before they do something.
This is not a trolling, this is not a spam. Please, tell me about how your peers act.
"I wasn't a model student..." or "I wasn't the most determined student..." or "I wasn't as interested in learning as others..." etc.
Doesn't mean that they were lazy, just bored with the super easy material and non-thought provoking questions day after day after day after day, for years and years.
You could be talking about Paiget's concrete operational stage of cognitive development. It's where you have difficulty doing hypothetical questions and putting yourself in someone else's shoes. It's egocentrism.
or one of Erikson's stages of development.
or Kohlberg's conventional stage
not into sociology, learned this only couple months ago in psych 1.
FINALLY! SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS! It's like Einstein said, "Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds.". Keep on fighting the enemy of ignorance and mediocracy, and those who are like us will be attracted to the light of your wisdom and come to you (or the other way around, whichever happens first). Surround yourself with a bubble of people who are smart and accept you, then you can have a healthy teenage experience. You are not alone, there are those of us who are aware of the weakness of others and resent it. But remember to keep your heart and mind open, for you will never know what you might find. Did I mention I was only 13?
I was trying to avoid saying something like that, as I only half-agree with what you are saying. Intelligence is a strange thing, when acquired, it shows itself quite prominently. But it is absolutely impossible to measure. Another interesting thought, judgmental-ness is a paradox in my opinion. Any other thoughts about that?

Like, if you think that someone is judgmental, *BAM* you just made a judgmental thought. I was trying to avoid saying something along the lines of "The majority of the people in the world are idiots" like what you said.

Ah. Well, either way, everyone is judgmental. And I guess I should say that the majority of the people in the world act like idiots, not are idiots. But either way, what I said still stands.
