Besides being freaking hillarious this is disgraceful behavior for the most powerful man in the world. Feeling threatened by a former governor isn't reason to need half a million to fight against such a Quote "dangerous" person and blames her for the term "death panel." Why don't we spend some of this money taking care of the ever expanding deficit? Seriously its not like we have loads of federal land to sell off to get rid of the national debt the way we took care of it under Marshall. China has advised Obama that now is not a good time for the Health Care reform as if they were a banker telling a customer that they can't increase their loan. I really don't feel good about China owning so much of us even if we are decades ahead of them technologically and a huge portion of their country either lives in villages or work in sweat shops.
Why doesn't he quit golfing so much, already more than Bush did in 8 years, and do something constructive? Oh wait, constructive for him means raising insurance costs for 85% of Americans and increasing the cost of fuel and energy, so maybe we should just lock him on a course and throw away the key.
When I say "Fascist," I do not mean "Hitler." Obviously Palin does not want to create the Aryan race, kill Jews, and take over the world.
What I mean is that she supports policies of inequality (opposition to gay marriage, opposition to insurance for everyone); policies against women (making raped women in Alaska pay for rape-kit tests, anti-abortion legislation); economic and military imperialism (support for drug wars, mega-corporations, Iraq War, etc); and increased government activity in personal life (anti-drug, anti-gay, pro-Patriot Act, etc.) These are all signs of Fascism.
Again, when I say Fascism, I don't mean Hitler. Just like Communism does not equal Stalin, Fascism does not equal Hitler. She has some qualities of Fascism.
I oppose insurance for everyone. I oppose a government that has economic policies which support those who will not support themselves. Those people deserve no support. However, I support a government that will strictly and completely control those who would speak out against it. I support a government that does not tolerate criminal action. And what's wrong with anti-abortion legislation? Last I checked, murder is a capital offense.
It's traditional. Being an American tradition makes it no less legitimate than any other odd tradition.
It's not the tradition I take issue with. It's the fact she's dumb enough to take an interview in front of a slaughter house after having pardoned a turkey. That's not exactly smart.

As would Kerry, as would Bush, as would our beloved President Obama. Well, actually, I believe he's intelligent, just lacking in the common sense department, but that's another story entirely. There are so few politicians today that are deserving of any respect...
Politicians should be intellectuals, scientists, mathematicians, heck even philosophers. They should be people who actually use that hunk of neurons between their ears known as a brain. I am all for opposing viewpoints but if they are over unimportant issues and ideology then what's the point. Shara Plain could possibly be an intelligent person but it is not being focused in the right areas like worldwide issues that kill, starve, and maim the less fortunate.Not whether you believe the way I am doing something is wrong and I should do it your way and only your way. Politicians shouldn't be ordering people around but asking questions and acting to fix problems.

No I'm perfectly happy slagging off Palin for the moment thanks. As hypocrisy is a common factor between politicians, I don't think you can count that as a factor. However Palin is extraordinarily unintelligent as politicians come.
