Sarah Palin Blog

Fox News on Youtube

LA Times Article

I picked a blog, news show, and newspaper to try to show different angles of the same story.

Besides being freaking hillarious this is disgraceful behavior for the most powerful man in the world. Feeling threatened by a former governor isn't reason to need half a million to fight against such a Quote "dangerous" person and blames her for the term "death panel." Why don't we spend some of this money taking care of the ever expanding deficit? Seriously its not like we have loads of federal land to sell off to get rid of the national debt the way we took care of it under Marshall. China has advised Obama that now is not a good time for the Health Care reform as if they were a banker telling a customer that they can't increase their loan. I really don't feel good about China owning so much of us even if we are decades ahead of them technologically and a huge portion of their country either lives in villages or work in sweat shops.

Why doesn't he quit golfing so much, already more than Bush did in 8 years, and do something constructive? Oh wait, constructive for him means raising insurance costs for 85% of Americans and increasing the cost of fuel and energy, so maybe we should just lock him on a course and throw away the key.

That didn't exactly seem to be the focus of the original question, but for your satisfaction, I was watching the BBC.

Which, as I recall, states something or another and then something about the views of its viewers. Who are biased. Always. But I may be cross connecting some memory of another.

Errm, why? You do realise he has nothing to do with this? In any case, I think you do a good enough job of that on your own.

We were discussing stupid politicians, no? Al Gore is the liberal version of Sarah Palin. Cereal.

I don't normally feed off of him, either, but now that you brought him to the forefront of my memory by us discussing stupid politicians, I will do that. I will feed off of him. And Nancy Pelosi.

I believe you are mistaken. It's a publicly funded national broadcaster. It is probably the least biased of any news station I have ever come across, here in the UK or overseas.

We were discussing stupid politicians, no?

We were discussing Sarah Palin. If you want to start a topic about stupid politicians, then feel free if it makes you feel any better.

Note: My argument isn't that Sarah Palin is the only stupid politician, however, she does kind of take the cake when it comes to the intelligence (or lack of) department.

Coupled with the fact she criticises the Obama administration virulently, and offers no formulated solutions.

Then you have never seen CSPAN. Ever.

Of course, CSPAN is horrendously boring.

Uh, no. Al Gore takes the cake. And everyone elses at that.

I'm really bad at thread making, but I might do that.

I openly criticize the Obama administration. To everyone. And extremely aggressively towards quite a few people.

Am I a stupid politician (pretend I'm a politician for a moment)?

You basically sound like 85% of the Republican party and maybe 15% of the Democratic Party.

Well, yes you are.

Any jackass can criticise. It's the job of politicians to formulate thorough policy proposals.

I'm really bad at thread making, but I might do that.

I think that might be quite a fun thread to take part it. Go for it.

Uh, no. Al Gore takes the cake. And everyone elses at that.

Out of interest, why exactly do you think Al Gore is so unintelligent?

He's an overly greedy hypocrite who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

It's the job of politicians to formulate thorough policy proposals.

And destroy their opponents, i.e. 99.9999999999999999999% of political exchanges. Polticians don't formulate jack, they spend too much of their time doing the opposite.

Well, yes you are.

And so is the entire Republican and Democratic parties?

Not necessarily an indicator of low levels of intelligence. In fact, being greedy is pretty much a base human mechanism. It's earned him tens of millions of dollars. A lot smarter than most people I know.

hypocrite

Which politicians aren't?

who doesn't know his *** from a hole in the ground.

Evidence?

Politicians should and do formulate policy. Of course a lot of politics is about winning over the voters, however there has to be a balance. Other than being insanely right wing, and a woman, Palin doesn't really have many policy issues other than vague statements like ''I will protect you from big government'', (despite the inherent contradiction with that statement).

And so is the entire Republican and Democratic parties?

No, lots of politicians do come up with good policy, although I'd struggle to give you US examples, as I'm far more familiar with the UK political system.

That never makes it past the first ten pages.

Don't get me started with vague statements.

Maybe.

Which politicians aren't?

All.

Evidence?

The global warming hype is a big one. He says it so much he believes it himself, despite the fact he's only used it to enhance his pocketbook.

What I want to know is why at that one McCain convention, all the people were saying things like "OBAMA IS A TERRORIST!!!" and "OBAMA IS A BLACK MONKEY!!!". I know it sounds a little weird that someone would say those things, but they WERE on the news, and I saw it myself.

You'd be surprised how many politicians are capable. It just seems the media focuses more on the ones bear baiting each other.

Don't get me started with vague statements.

I won't. I'm just showing how Palin is full of them, when she should be full of policy.

The global warming hype is a big one. He says it so much he believes it himself, despite the fact he's only used it to enhance his pocketbook.

But that has nothing to do with his intelligence. In fact, you acknowledged that him making money off it doesn't make him unintelligent:

Maybe.

You're unintelligent when you can't control your own lies.

Well what I meant was: if we can't get a good politician into office there's no way were heading down a good road.
