I'll Choose a song from two bands from the 80's, rock bands, and you'll have 15 votes to decide the winner. Rememmber to give a stern reason why you picked the song. I need three other people to help me run this, in case I'm gone and not on much.
First Song Battle: Iron Maiden's {url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5Snehl2bAk]Run to the Hills[/url] VS. Van Halen's Jump Send suggestions to my page.
Gonna have to say "I Wanna Rock", I usually can't stand the music of Twisted Sister, but their gimmick is so hilariously stupid that it's hard for me not to like this song.
Next you should pick Foreplay/ longtime by Boston and Let there be Rock by AC-DC.
From 11 pages to 7. Keep in mind that posts containing the counted votes could be less frequent, and should actually include something more than "yep", because without the votes, it is pretty much spam. Even with the votes it might be. And all the "song hands down" and stuff should be changed into "song hands down because [insert why here]". Kthnx.
With that over, I will say "Free Falling", mainly because the melody is more catchy and likeable than "About a Girl". They are not the best I have heard either of them, but at least I can handle the melody of the one I picked. And the chorus is somewhat catchy.
About a girl.I love this one cause i like Cobain. As for free falling...mmm i don't really like that song and neither Tom Petty.. So,my vote goes to the song : About a girl
About a Girl-4 Nirvana Free Falling-4 Tom Petty and Heartbreakers Wow this ones gonna be close, thanks to all that voted so far. Nailbiter to the finish it looks like. Keep them coming.
I'll vote for Free Falling. There are a bunch of Nirvana songs I like better than Free Falling probably, but between these two songs I'll take Tom Petty just because I like singing along to it, lol.
I vote Free Falling. Nirvana can't beat Tom Petty in his own game. I don't really like any Nirvana songs, and I'm a huge Tom Petty fan, so there's my vote for you.
