Lately, I've been thinking about this. As it's been proven that all people come from one zygote, completely chemically/biologically, do people really have souls/spirits? I believe that God created the Earth and Adam/Eve, and gained the conclusion that they definitely had souls as God directly created them. And if they were the only ones with a soul, does that mean they were the only ones truly able to communicate with God? Another thing to add might be 'What is a soul, exactly?' or 'Do you believe that life is just more than chemicals?'
It would seem dumb to think that absolutely nothing will happen after you die.
There are plenty of things that will happen after you die. Death itself is quite a complex biological process. In fact I can even show you what happens. Decomposition of Baby Pigs (warning you might be grossed out by this)
Since there would be absolutely no reason for us on earth, then, there must be something of meaning that will exist after we die for all eternity.
Sounds like your just looking forward to dying rather then living your life.
I can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I cannot conceive how he could look up into the heavens and say there is no God.
I can look up at the sky and say there is no God since we have found no evidence for any god up there.
Also if you are to say God created everything 6,000 years ago I can say that even more so since what I'm looking at up there disproves such a timeline.

That's impossible, if there where dinosaurs millions of years ago whos to say that everything was created 6,000 years ago..and we actually have proof of dinosaurs being here on earth millions of years ago.

Mage is right - forgetting all the images with have of forming stars that are billions of lightyears away we can also use redshift from stars that are millions of lightyears away to prove that the universe is a lot older than 6,600 years.
