Topic. I have an extreme hate for OPs, since they tend to try and shift the reader to one side or another. Therefore, I don't right one, unless I am explaining something.

There cant be a war without a peace, and vice versa. There cant be a yes without a no, there cant be anything if it didn't have an opposite.

If gangs/drug cartels/mafias are at war then of course there would be war, them fighting is war.

There cant be a war without a peace, and vice versa. , there cant be anything if it didn't have an opposite.

Peace does not exist on a battlefield, only war does, and peace can not exist on a battlefield as long as war does.

There cant be a yes without a no

Yes there can, if someone asks you a question you can't truthfully answer yes and no, you can only answer yes or no.

actually, it varies with how people define peace, as such, it can be yes, yet at the same time no.

I noticed people tend to be on the idealistic or realistic side of this debate.

Idealists (me included) think of how things could be, i.e. there could be no war, no fighting, cooperation and advancement, and perhaps a step ahead of the red queen :P

Realists think on what is, whats possible right now, what is likely to happen i.e. sometimes you need to take out a badass dictator to create peace, and so war paves the way for peace.

The truth is none of us have a damn clue, so Ill stick to being idealisticly realistic. Its possible to have peace without war, but we realisticly need everyone to think the same thing. Spooge!

Peace: Exemption from, or cessation of, war with public enemies.

So yes there would be piece, but there would not be obligatory public quiet, order, and contentment in obedience to law.
