It's pretty easy to kill them, all you do is hit them once with an aerial attack and they'll plummet to the ground, they'll flinch for a few seconds... Which should probably give you enough time to repeatedly attack them.
Open the compose menu (talk to the potion lady and press K when she says Potion/Composition). Then you get the composition GUI. You can click on the question mark next to the "compose" button to check the various recipes.
A pretty balanced build is to put 2 points into strength every level and 1 point in every other stat. You won't be doing as much damage, but you'll survive for a longer period of time for sure. Of course, if you don't think doing critical damage is worth it, you can always take the point from luck and put it into something else. Ok, hope this helped.

you have to use a small stone first. and i hate to say this but to play the full version you have to go to funnaut.
