He has always existed. He was there before the world began, and will be there after it has ended. Nothing and no one made Him.

But...then how did he come to be?

There was process that created him. He always has been. He was not created, He did not come to be. The Father has always been. Always. Think back as far as you can possibly imagine. Way before the Earth existed. He was there then. He does not have a beginning point, because He has always existed.

Oops. Sorry. Never saw your statement XD

Things just can't exist. Everything must start.

Don't worry about it =P My brain has a habit of getting ahead of my fingers.

That's part of the power of God. You and I have a beginning, and we will have a physical end. But God is different. He has no end; he has no beginning. He just.. Is.

There is no possible understanding of the Divine. Man cannot comprehend the mind or even eternal existence of God.

Yup. Pretty much how every 'discussion' about god happens.

There really is no way of getting around it.

At least make it interesting, people. Like, I dunno, say something like "God lives in the moon and watches us all with a telescope, and He was created by the God who lives in the sun, who was created by the God who lives in the black hole."

Then Why do you believe in him, if you can not rationalize his existence?

And Voidy, if you want interesting, I'll write you a story :3
Religion is not a welcome place for imagination.
