i was in the threads and i was moving thread to thread. its been a while and i constantly check in. it still wont let me post. i think you cant refresh or anything for 30 seconds or it doesnt count. can you make it last 30 seconds, not 30 seconds on one page?

I think personally it should be reduced to 10 seconds or something; it's really annoying when you want to post on a different thread.

30 seconds are meant for putting forth more effort into strong posts, so unless you are posting way too fast, no one should have a problem with it; for the time being, it is also used for looking over your post, making sure everything is what you want it to look like; no typos or mistakes or anything.

I agree with this comment of Freakenstein, this way spammers don't have the 'carte blanche' to overflow the forums with spam comments and it's assured that only people with the right intentions place comments on the threads...

Making it less than 30 seconds would definitely result in opening the door to these people with bad intentions and eventually the closing of the forums for everyone... not to mention the massive extra work for the mods trying to clean up the threads getting rid of all the spam...

OMG! Do they make songs that are only 30 seconds long?! :P

No seriously, I still think it's necessary to have a 30 seconds wait when you posted to keep spam and other stuff out the door...

But 6 minutes is overboard.

Oh that's such an exaggeration... We all realize that there are moments where the time is longer than 30 seconds, but I don't think it goes THAT far.

Really... 6 minutes?! Are you sure you have the latest browser update installed? Maybe an older computer, or slow internet... :S

I just can't imagine that there's a glitch in the commenting that takes 6 minutes to enter a new comment... :/
