i was in the threads and i was moving thread to thread. its been a while and i constantly check in. it still wont let me post. i think you cant refresh or anything for 30 seconds or it doesnt count. can you make it last 30 seconds, not 30 seconds on one page?

Oh that's such an exaggeration... We all realize that there are moments where the time is longer than 30 seconds, but I don't think it goes THAT far.

It's happened to me twice before. It went for about 10 minutes during the longer time. I couldn't post comments or do nuthin' here.

Ernie... 10 minutes!?! Geezz... I really feel sorry for you then... :S
I guess I shouldn't moan about the fact that I sometimes have a glitch making me wait a minute before it works to post a comment... *blushes*

Luckily for me it dropped down to 5 minutes today. Hopefully it will keep dropping until it goes back to the standard 30 seconds.

I think it might have something to do with the odd times. You know, the time when something was posted might be 1minute for a couple of minutes...?

The most bizarre thing is that 30 seconds is still 30 seconds when it comes to comments...

The same thing just happened to me. I posted in the Art section and when I tried to post in the Video Games section, I had to wait 5 minutes, not 30 seconds. I pressed refresh ever 60 seconds too. I wish that glitch would get fixed. It was really annoying.

I still believe it has something to do with the intensity of people using the website causing problems for the server of AG...
The more people going online on the site at one particular time, the more the server chokes on all that amount of data to be processed by it...
If I look at the times of posting, it's usually on time periods when a lot of people are done working, finished school and have vacations, like the christmas vacation last time... the problem occured at that period a lot... :S

It didn't used to be this way, you gotta understand that much Holden. There is a minor, specific something in the code that the designers were tinkering with that suddenly made this happen. I'm sure since this has been going on for little more than a week or two that they are working to solve this problem.
