Is there anyone who can give me a reason to continue having the short story contest stickied? It is inactive, and there has been trouble with it as well?
Also, possibly looking for a new judge for the ASC.
Most definitely looking for a new judge for the ASC, and I feel like an idiot for not announcing so myself sooner, given all the delays for various reasons. Thank you very much for putting this up, Cenere.
The short story contest may be inactive, but I think that if you un-stick it, it will soon totally die. Now there aren't many entries, but at least everybody has the chance to write or even considers writing a story for fun and i personally find this important.

The idea was to unsticky it for the sake of abandoning it entirely. Because it is inactive, and has not been judge longer than even Zophia can procrastinate judging. I am all in for a new one, if a judge actually cares about it, but as it is, it is just taking up space in this wall'o'stick. And since I am going to clean up, it would be nice to take away the unnecessary part, instead of making a new thread, that just ends up just as dead.
I just wanna through my name in for the ASC judging. I know decent amount about art and it would be a little change of pace from everything else I'm doing (to sit down and observe other's art)

The poetry contest is also in a bad shape, there are needed ideas to make it again *quite* active.
Well, I am only taking care of the renewal of the threads. The ideas should come from the judge. Though, I wonder if it would help to take a break from them all. I mean, like locking them all, and give people some time to miss it, instead of just waiting and complaining.
Theoretically, but a proof of ability to do so is sort of required.
I wpuld still like the ASC. Give me sometihng to do.

Though, really, I don't know what your 66 other posts have been, but asking twice for the judge position just to have something to do... No. The ASC is one of the major contests on the forum, or at least was back when judged regularly and could probably be so again. I'm not saying you couldn't be a good judge. Just that I haven't seen anything indicating that you would be, and begging is a strangle-worthy thing to do.
Bronze has actually proved his ability to judge reasonably, so if no one has objections to the judging post being passed on to him, that could totally work. Crimsonblade55 is probably the only one who can rightfully object, having been through the strange ASC judge election we had last time we needed a judge.
I think Bronze is qualified and have demonstrated to be so, and he also seems reasonably active (sure as hell more active than me atm). So, if no objections come against that, I'd be happy to see him judge.

That's something like a year ago... We held out longer than Strop... Anywho... About the locking. I would do this until I get done, but I pretty much need to wait for the current stuff to be judged > >...
