Why don't you go make us some or get someone to go make some? But really, I never did like animated pics on the intertubez. For one thing, it's mind numbing waiting for the dang pic to load, where it loads a couple frames, stops, then goes for another couple frames, et cetera.
I would prefer just another armatar set to tell you the truth. One that is around the middle-knightly AP area. :P
Wouldn't this just cause lag, and also it would take a while to load if everyone started using them.
Everything newly-added causes lag, just that animated armatars would cause MORE lag. See, some people *cough me* have dialup and it would take a long time *cough me* for the page to load *cough me* much less load up moving armatars *cough me*.

Animated armatars... nah... it's fine the way it is and yes... they would cause a lot of extra (unneeded) lag on the site. The suggestion to 'store' your armatars used is a better one and is (in my opinion) sufficient.
If there were animated armatars it would result in me staring at the armatars all the time like a bunny looking at the headlights of a car... *rolls eyes* and I don't want that to happen! I want to play games and swim around in the community-pond...
Yea, seeing as how people, like me, and freak have dial up, they still try and keeps websites fairly plain. No need for flashy stuff. It just gets in the way.

I don't think so: GIF format flashing icons are really compact(Almost like JPG except you can make frames). I don't think it would cause too much lag (Face it, everything causes lag to the pessimist), as one KB extra(That's probably the max) isn't much different to normal armatars.
The last artist that added in armatars without contest was Zophia and her dinosaur armatar set. Heeey Zophia, want a job? ROFL
Zoph makes nice art. Flashing armatars by her will either be crappy or ruin her name in the Art Community.

Community has a Pool? I've got to check this out... Anyway, I have to agree: When foruming or playing games, flashing icons really annoy as no matter what we do, they will attract our attention(People get polled to flashy things). It would annoy just as many people who would want it, making it neutral. Therefore, leave the idea.
