I've seen someone be on a 9 day ban... Not sure if it was a glitch, though.
the only mod to ever get banned(besides Voidy banning himself) was Estel after giving a ban to a user who demanded a ban, I'm pretty sure. xD

The topic of mod abuse is interesting in itself. It would seem that such a thing could occur, as power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely and petty power corrupts petty people. This is the reason AG selects non-petty people to be mods. You may notice that maturity is one of the most sought-out features of modship. Furthermore, if a mod does get out of hand (faking being a good user until modded would make one the world's greatest troll) we have distinctly non-petty admins. The admins' monetary incentive to not ruin the system also helps.
Yeah, the AG system is pretty good. I would never support something so blatantly and unabashedly tyrannical on anything other than an internet forum, mind you.
Anyway, I guess I'm done blabbering for now, so you can all go back to your fun. There is no mod abuse, citizen, go back to your fun.

Funny story about that. Remember the whole TSL3_Needed incident where he lost his account and another fused with his? The troll controlled his account after being banned. What would happen if a troll controlled an admins? Of course that can't happen since the problem was resolved BEFORE a troll decided to test that theory out.
