So the other day people from a church came to my door and gave me some booklet saying that the world is guaranteed to end with in 25 years. The booklet said that Jesus would come back, and the final war would start before the last of the Jewish generation that returned to the home land after WW2 died. Ok so that would make a baby back then 65 now. Add 25 years and that person would be 90, and that person probably would not live longer than that. The booklet claimed this is what it said in the Bible. I find this funny and the only reason why I listened to the five minute speech they gave is because the girl was good looking. So whats the deal with this claim.

That's enough..hahah :P Too many theories like this exist.Most popular is that on the year 2012 world will end.Most theories are fake...you know that.I don't really believe in that kinda stuff.
First its 2012, then it's going to be 2020, now it's this 25 year-span deal too? Oh, maybe it's also going to be 2222 that the world is going to end! And maybe I'll become a king! And you know what else? I think this crap's going to happen for a long time. People also think that the world is going to end every 100 years because of the 1 second, 2 minutes, 3 hours, 4 days, 5 weeks, 6 months, 7 years crap.... in other words, when that happens, the clock will read 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 all the way across. Nah, nothing is going on in 2020. But in 2036, NASA has predicted that an asteroid MIGHT hit the Earth. Very low possibility though, but unlike others this actually has some proof. The same asteroid could even maybe hit in 2029, but that's even lower than the chance in 2036.

This could all have been avoided if everyone had just purchased a Bible. Then the salesmen wouldn't have had to resort to these unorthodox methods that force people into buying Bibles and converting to Christianity as a last resort.

I have been there. I spent way too many hours in church just so I could get a girl to like me. But it was worth the effort...... O_o
People will always think that the world will end on X/Y/Z because *TEH BIBLEZ TOLD ME* People have been predicting doomsday for thousands of years.... All of them have yet to be right. I'm not too worried.

I predict that withen the next 10 minutes someone will die from a car crash. Predicting anything long term is fairly likely to come true, and the fact that we DO have the power to destroy the world doesn't take it out of the question. Personally, I think they girl wasn't that smart.
I thought everyone was going on about 2012 was when the world was going to end... its just like Y2K and im sure there were plenty before that too, no one knows when the world is going to end im fairly sure its not going to be for awhile but who knows.
