A friend brought up aninteresting question the other day, and I thought that I'd share it wwith you guys. If you had to choose a disability, would you rather be deaf, blind, or mute? Why? I would rather be mute because I could still communicate through writing and other than that the effect that it would have on my life would be minimal.
Of the three disabilities I would rather be mute. By being able to see and hear I have everything I need to experience the world. I don't need to speak to enjoy life. If I had to have either a broken leg or arm, I would have to say a broken left arm, least that way I could still write to communicate.
