I think it's too soon to tell. Yes we aren't doing so great now, but it's only been a year, and this mess has been building for over 20 years.

To those of you saying he "only got in because he's black." Yes, being black contributed to his getting in, but being white and a man has caused that 'groups' contributed in the same way. Haven't you seen the studies were equally qualified women or minorities are paid less than white men?

1) Your statistic is incorrect as the amount was nowhere near that high.
2) It has been projected that Obama will have outspent Bush's 8 years within his first 20 months and 11 days.
