Portal is a puzzle game with a very well made ramp system. You don't need hints for the game. I promise.

well i got the thing that its a puzzle game just any levels or secrets i should be aware of?

Just explore everywhere you can. Listen to what Glados (or whatever) says. She will help you with puzzles and it's simply funny.

It's an easy game to beat. When you die, you come back knowing what to do differently. You will love the game, it's great.

Apparently though there's a way to get to the cake.. though it's like a hologram xD

Portal (the best puzzle/skill game ever) is a game where you must think outside the box and be quick on your feet if you ever hope to advance. There are no secrets that will benefit you in the game, but there are some easter eggs that can be cool to find out.

Basically to advance, you must use your brain and reasoning skills to find a way past certain areas.

You are probably better off not having the surprise spoiled, it's a wonderful game that deserves to be explored. I'm not sure you quite understand what it's all about...

Just from personal experience, but you could get somewhat nauseated from playing extensively. well then again thats probably applicable for most fps.

Here's one of the best eastereggs ever.

Once inside, type in "login" or "logon". It will ask for a username and password. Use any username and type in Portal for a password. Afterwards type in apply.exe. You will go through a series of questions and procedures that represents what a normal employee of aperture science would go through in "real life".

Along the way, you'll notice certain letters that flash with the questions. If you keep track by the end of the session, the letters will come up to "T-H-E-C-A-K-E-I-S-A-L-I-E". Restart the application, and when it shows you your application code, type in "the cake is a lie", and you'll find certain pictures and other goodies inside. I won't tell you what it is

The second thing you can do at the site while logging in is typing "CJohnson" for the username and "Tier3" as the password. Typing in "notes.exe" will give you pretty much the background and history of Aperture Science and how the company came to be. Pretty hilarious stuff actually.

It's a good enough easter egg to actually find interesting
