SInce when has our government ever been fair? The founding fathers made sure that we wouldn't be a true "democracy" because that is too risky. A country that people actually have say in their government would be too risky and therefore an unsafe and poor working government, thus a failure as a nation. As to the sexting let adults with child porn be punishable, but let those celebrities keep ruining their careers please! Don't make it illegal for everyone, that would make the government seem unfair...pffttt

What I said had nothing to do with democracy. It had to do with how much control the government has. The founding fathers established a government that was smaller than Britain's. They wanted a nation where the people could do whatever they wanted, as long as they didn't harm anybody else. The government today is growing out of hand.
I never said the government was unfair. In fact, the government is trying to be fair to a fault. People today don't take into consideration the intent of the law. The government shouldn't be bullying children who have caused nobody any harm.
They already have access to our text logs. Especially if you have a smartphone (iPhone, Blackberry, Palm, etc.). There was a warning that came with my brother's blackberry saying that while using certain apps, we could be watched at any given time WITHOUT notification. That's how they are going to enforce it, no privacy.

The only way communism makes any sense at all is to make capitalism an enemy. Rather than co-existence, communists would rather abolish all capitalist ideas, because they know they wouldn't be able to gain any support what so ever if they didn't make someone an enemy.

While communists generally don't believe in the Bible themselves doesn't, it does not contradict with saying that the Bible supports communism. Its more of a propaganda technique really. Its more of a argument against religious folks. We don't convince ourselves that we are right because the bible is on our side, but rather that if you are a Christian then how do you deny the passages in the Bible?

this gov. involvement with "sexting" isn't communist but yet a STEP towards Communism, where do we dram the line, these restrictions are important bec. they will make it so a 9yr. child can become a registered sex offender bec. of some nude pictures on her phone that can be of people older than her. imagine now this girl when she grows up will be a registered sex offender bec. of something sent to her when she was 9, that is the issue
