If I tried to actually learn I would like to play the drums. =] I started learning to play both guitar and piano. I dropped guitar, though. I've gotten to the point where I can read music for the piano, but I don't know any real songs. So, for now, the only real thing I can play is my voice! If that counts...
Freakenstein, GOOD LUCK AT SOLO AND ENSAMBLE! That's my favorite part of the year. =] Mines not until March, though. I'm in one solo and one ensamble. Yay!
I'm not that old enough to actually be GREAT at what I play. But currently i'm learning and playing snare/drum set. I can't play much until I have a few day's of practice. Depends on how hard the song is. 'Bad' by Micheal Jackson is sorta... Easy. But fun.
its not that hard to read guitar tab i'll teach you
||------------||<_ you see this line, it stands for the furthest string away from you ||------------|| ||------------|| ||------------|| ||------------|| ||-0-1-2-3-||<-this one is the closest string to you ^ these numbers stand for what fret you press down.
Each number is another beat.If a line has no number that means you don't strum that string,if it has a 0 that means you strum that string but you don't press a fret down
you don't unless you know how the song goes. Isn't it great!?
in more proper TAB (not like two 2 cent example) above the TAB it has symbols for full note, rest, quarter note all that stuff that tell you how the beat goes. And anyway I can't read real music
