It is RAP-TURE not RAPE-TURE for you perverted people.

Anyway the long awaited rapture, or the taking of God's souls up to heaven during the time of the apocolypse, has been argued over weather it will happen before, or after the apocolypse. I say it is Pre-Rapture, because if it was Post-Rapture, then there would only be 1/6 of the world's population left... and there would be no one to save. What do you guys say?

Have you all forgotten that there are various types of trolling and that you all were DOING SO before he even got pissed? Do I have to post the fucking definition for you cretins? For the real topic:

One thing that you forgot to mention was that some people belive that the rapture will not take place before or after the tribulation, but somewhere in the middle. Some even belive that Christians could be active enough it wouldn't be necessary at all. (Balderdash in my opinion as it goes against scripture, but some people do think it.) I myself firmly belive in pretribulation rapture as Christ would not punish the faithful for the sins of the wicked. However he is coming back for those who are watching for his return and are without spot or blemish in the sight of God (We in ourselves can never be as thus be he sees not our sins but the blood of Christ sanctifying us.) not just for whoever attends church on Sunday or Saturday based upon your denomination. In the book of Revelation once the judgments of God begin pouring out the church is not mentioned. Those that turn to the faith at the time are spoken of, but the church itself is not. Also as for the percentage of the world left alive we cannot know but 3 judgements specifically state that they will kill a certain percentage of people. The first of these is 1/4 leaving 3/4 left. The second is 1/3 leaving 1/2 remaining. The third of these states that 1/2 will be killed and thus there will not be more than 1/4 of the world alive at the end of the judgements and almost certainly a great deal less.

To give a serious answer, I don't really see the rapture (or eschatology) as something to be dogmatic about. If it is not open to man to know, it's not worth quibbling so much about. All we need to know is that Christ is coming soon, but the manner in which he does it does not strike me as particularly important to our salvation.

I do, however, see it as important not to cram my belief (or lack thereof) in the form of trolling posts meant to boost my own ego at the expense of other people. But I suppose I'm a deviant when it comes to the Internet.
