A lateral thinking puzzle is a puzzle where you have to think outside the box, and think of anything possible. In this thread I will give lateral thinking puzzles and you have to answer them. Every so often I will give a hint. I will keep score of the winners, and no using google, plz don't, it spoils the fun.

To figure out the answers, there may be a certain amount of yes or no questions for each one, and 1 or 2 hints for each one.

First Puzzle:

Jack and Jill were laying on the floor dead. The only things in the room were a broken bowl, and a puddle of water.

Questions: 6

The fourth man was dead or injured and the three men were carrying him to safety. Or maybe he was being carried for another reason?

close. I forgot something.

4 men were walking to a village. It started to rain, and the first 3 quickened their pace. The 4th man made no attempt to go faster, yet they all reached the village at the same time, and only the 4th man was not wet.

the 4th man could have been walking towards the village from a different direction, where it isn't raining.

oh i think I got it. They were carrying the fourth on a gurdy or something while the fourth was injured or dead so he couldn't increase his speed and he was covered with a tarp and never got wet while the other three carried him fastly to the village.

He wasn't on a gurny but he was covered in a tarp because he was dead and they were carrying him to the village for a funeral. Moat basically got it except I left out a part.

Next: A man tells his two sons that are to race their cars to a distant city to see who will inherit his fortune. The one whose car arrives last will win. The brothers, after wandering aimlessly for days, ask a wise man for advise. After hearing the advice they jump on the camels and race as fast as they can to their destination. What did the wise man say?

The brothers, after wandering aimlessly for days, ask a wise man for advice. After hearing the advice they get in the cars and race as fast as they can to their destination. What did the wise man say?

I like yours better than mine, but information like that doesn't count as advice unless he suggests a place for them to look.

He tells them that there is a lot of money there and that whoever finds it keeps it.Complete guess never heard of it.

Just think of it, if they trade cars, whoever has the faster car will be the one financially worse off, requiring the inheritance to remain stable.

The brothers switch their camels and then race to finish first.

If brotherA comes first he inherits the fortune, since his camel whcih is being ridden by brother B has come last.

This is kind of the same as one but it is kind of different.

you said camels, jdog said cars, unless you've memorized it from a time ago, which you didn't as you said you never heard it before, you used the internet, or some outside source.
