A lateral thinking puzzle is a puzzle where you have to think outside the box, and think of anything possible. In this thread I will give lateral thinking puzzles and you have to answer them. Every so often I will give a hint. I will keep score of the winners, and no using google, plz don't, it spoils the fun.
To figure out the answers, there may be a certain amount of yes or no questions for each one, and 1 or 2 hints for each one.
First Puzzle:
Jack and Jill were laying on the floor dead. The only things in the room were a broken bowl, and a puddle of water.
He knew that Mrs. Brown was afraid of heights so she would never go onto the balcony willingly.
That seems possible. Did Mrs Brown say she hated flying because she was afraid of heights? Was she booked an aisle seat by Mr Jones so she wouldn't have to look out the window?
sge was pushed or killed with something on an airplane or Mr. Jones was working the scanning system and saw a weapon in Mr. Brown's bag but thought it was just for safety.
Mr. Jones = Travel Agent Mr. Brown (murderer) specifically asks Jones for a nice hotel (or whatever...) with a high level balcony for a nice view. Jones fines a nice place for the Browns. Next day newspaper. Jones finds out why Brown asked for a high balcony.
