Okay, I'M the one who does this then...
What you think about it? Personally I find it's much better than MW2, the realism is much better, the maps, Squads, destructible ground, and the animations (Hello? R700 reload on Call of Duty 4!)...
As well as the official names on BF: BC II, Thumper was a nickname on MW2, and others on CoD4, R700 = M24, the M24 reload on the Demo of BF: BC II looks much better and, more pro.
MW2 was a good step up, in many ways, but it does not do some of the most SIMPLE things which should have come first.
Shotguns / Machine Pistol / Launcher as secondary < Destructible Ground.
Variety of Perks < Class specific bonuses (Medics, anyone?)
New kinds of Campaign Detail < Vehicles.
Variety of Weapons / Out-Dated Weapons < Maps and amount of players allowed.
Knifing Damage (seriously...) < Squads? That's an easy one!
Those are the main ones, and Battlefield does seem more experianced in how to manage the games properly, go BF BC II!

Can you customize your weapons in this one? I haven't played the demo/beta for it yet.
You can, kind of...
It's not as specific as MW2, but it makes it seem more like a war, not a game, but also makes it more fun xD

Not to mention MW2 doesn't include alot of the best attatchments (Sling?), but they could do a customized game mode with BF BC II, like a special ops one, with less players xD

BC 2 is sick!! Demo is amazing. The demo beats MW2 by a long shot! And the game play is so smooth and realistic its crazy. Sometimes scares me when I see a tank rolling over trees and stuff heading towards me.

Yea Call of Duty to me is just to frantic of motion. Its kinda unrealistic as Halo lol. I need a copy of the first BC so I can get to know the characters and story line.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 will be such an awesome game but i wonder why there wasnt much hype as the first one? but still, go battlefield!!
Partly taken from my post in another thread:
There obviously lots of strategy involved in both games, yet... BF2 is just so much more. When you think about it, are simulated wars clumped together? No. They are spread apart by one outpost to the next. Battlefield excels in this.
There are better class-specific items had in Bad Company than there are in Call of Duty. I'm not much of a CoD player myself, but I know for a fact that there is no way that you can't revive someone that was downed in that game, contrary to Battlefield. Another thing that they excel in that CoD doesn't. Reviving someone just downed can turn the tide of battle because it doesn't contribute to the team's score. Resupplying someone's ammo can turn the tide of battle so they can use more grenades and grenade launcher ammo. Being able to effectively destroy a vehicle quickly can turn the tide of battle, instead of everyone scrambling for their lives until someone dies to pick up a rocket launcher. Every class is balanced and has their own advantages and disadvantages in Battlefield, whereas in CoD, you have slight differences that could easily be remedied to where everyone could be playing with the same fixes.
Obviously, there is no real leader in CoD, just a bunch of people running about doing their own thing, while one of them barks orders but has no real power. Commanders can look from overhead to oversee the entire battlefield and can tell when someone needs what at the right time, if he is skilled enough. He can resupply any part of the battlefield, bomb any portion of the map, and give orders while still fighting the good fight.
Yes, there is no campaign in Battlefield, or at least not in earlier games. However, isn't the modern gaming world all about competitive multiplayer? Yes. People do not care much for the campaign. Afterall, it doesn't show their true potential, as npc's, computer-controlled enemies, and sudden fortunate events all point out to the fact that the campaign can basically play itself. Save for the few points where you are actually deemed an important player, in order to move on.
I for one will looking forward to Battlefield: Bad Company II. I've been a fan of the series, I hope they include many favorable changes, and I hope that my internet can support it! XD
Well highfire in a modern age its unrealistic. But I do agree with you totaly. No one knows what would happen in 500 years from now. So the science is kind of believing..
And Frankenstien, in the BF BC2 demo reviving your teamate is 50 score and reviving your squadmates is 80.

I will scream if this game has a shotgun that can go 50 ft range, if a player explodes upon death thus killing me, if a player can go flying, and have infinite noob tubes.
I pray that this game will not be as broken as MW2.
Sniping in this game really hard, but much more gratifying. Nothing beats a head shot from like 500 yards.

Yes, and also btw, the size of maps and aircraft in MW2 is just dull in comparison, in BF BC II, you can rely on yourself, but every boom, shot and slice is done by a real player, no overhead helicopter shooting ppl through walls, no harrier airstrike killing 1 person. Just your friendly Bravo Squad in a Helicopter with 2 Miniguns, with tanks too >

2 RPG Rockets
Grenade Launcher
out of ammo? Assault.
